Daigo Spectrum Notebook A5 Black/SkyBlu R4060

This is a nicely made notebook. I look for a few key items to make the note taking process pleasurable and effective and this book seems to hit them all.- attractive book: the cover has a soft touch feel that hints at faux leather but leans towards the vinyl side. I like it as it feels modern and not like it aspires to be leather- distinct appearance: the color on the page edging and end pages is a nice highlight making the book stand out on the desk- page density: the pages are strong and support ink well- page marker/ribbon: it has one that matches the binding color. Nice.- flexible binding: this book lays flat when open making it easy to write on the left side pages without constantly forcing them flat. A very important feature if you write on both sides of the pages like I doThe only surprise for me was that the cover is much more flexible than I expected and the page count is lower than I usually get. This is a very flexible cover that bends and rolls. I suspect that is where the "student" comes from in the name.I can't give this five stars given how expensive this is. Almost $15 for a single soft-bound notebooks with mid-range page count is pretty costly. This should be around $8 - $9.Overall a very nice and solid notebook. A bit more informal than a Moleskine as it have a rolled edge binding instead of a flat spine. But I am happy with this book so far.

This is a great notebook. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because for the price I would expect more pages. Overall it's a quality product. The paper is thick and does not bleed through. The cover has a very unique feeling and flexible cover. It's a thick durable cover as well.The green edges to the pages is very vibrant green and is a very cool feature that I can see being useful to use in organizing and identifying subjects.

The cover for this notebook/ journal is unlike any I have seen before. I have had it for almost two months now and it is safe to say that although the cover is very soft, it is still very much durable and can hold up to the wear and tear of going in and out of back pack multiple times a day going from class to class. On top of this the pages are made with high quality paper that can stand up to all the ink I have used without bleeding through to the next page. Overall this is a great journal and I will definitely be purchasing another once this one is filled up.

Lovely notebook, high quality and sturdy with a flexible cover but smaller then I was expecting. I will be sending one of the two I purchased back and hope to find a larger size with more pages available.

The paper is some of the most satisfying to write on and the back is made of soft material that is a joy to hold in your hands. Highly recommended!

The cover's really soft, and it comes with a ribbon bookmark too. Ink written on these pages don't bleed, although there's a slight shadow when writing with fluid ink pens, though it doesn't bother me much.

The notebook is nice, but not what i expected. Based what was on the picture does not reflect the page count. It is costly for a very thin notebook.

Beautiful, gorgeous notebook. The cover is soft, the pages don't bleed, the pop of color makes me happy. I almost don't want to write in it because it's so pretty. But I will. I will.....
