Once you get to grips with the cooking time this is excellent to use. We've been using the sandwich press almost daily and the plates are easy to wipe clean. Some crums get stuck in the screws and joints, but they are easy enough to get out with a little perseverance - same if the waffle and doughnut batter get into them as well. The waffle recipe which comes with it is great, I would recommend making the full quantity and then keeping the left over mix in the fridge so you can have it over a couple of days. Such a good find.

Bought to replace my old toastie maker that I had since I was at uni. Sad times but he made his last toastie. Thought this looked cool with all the different plates. Kids love the doughnuts and waffles and at least I can control their sugar intake if I make them myself. Really easy to clean, plates have been through the dishwasher and survived. The clip is really sturdy, I made toasties using thick bread and it held even though it was a bit of a struggle to clasp, would defo recommend using medium sliced bread rather than thick. Comes with a booklet that has recipes for the batter for waffles/donuts which is really easy to follow.

The machine itself is good, however I’ve noticed it doesn’t cook toasties or waffles very evenly, but does just fine with paninis and doughnuts. The plates aren’t very high quality, as the non-stick coating began to come off after a few uses, however this doesn’t matter much to me as I coat the outside of paninis and toasties in butter, which is mainly what I use the machine for. If using a plate that hasn’t been used before, there will be an unpalatable smoke coming from the machine as it heats up, but that lessens over time. Overall, not particularly high quality, but great for the price, and great for what it gets used for.

This product is a first world problem godsend. The fact that you can detach the plates to clean is brilliant. A toasted sandwich no longer feels like salmonella on a plate as the machine stays hygienic. The donuts have proved a challenge on the recipe front but they taste good, even though we haven't perfected an even bake yet. Waffles have yet to be explored as we've been too busy eating toasties. Really impressed by it overall, with fast heating and cooking times.

It works well on the first time you use. After 3/4 times the toast bread starts sticking so much to the plate making it impossible to use.

Bought this product cause it was all in one but that's pretty much where all the pros end. Used it twice tried to give it a go but unfortunately wasn't good enough first of all the sandwich plates are super small meaning a small size tesco toast bread will still be too big and thick for this toastie maker. So the sandwiches end up being really squashed edges very burned to a point where the texture felt like plastic, also the sandwiches never closed properly and the unit felt like after certain amount of uses the handle would break or even burn as it got very hot to the touch. So unfortunately it only looked the part but not very good when it comes to usage. Definitely wouldn't recommend the product. For a refund for it and the customer service was great good company in regards to customer service

You may not be aware but slices of GF bread are much smaller than regular bread. therefore, the small plates in this are perfect. I heeded advice by other buyers who'd noticed a smell when the item was plugged in, and I thoroughly cleaned everything, including the heating elements (carefully with a dampened cloth). I then dried the plates off in the oven before storing everything away. I have used the sandwich plates and the panini plates so far. No problems, no smell...just aroma from lovely food.

This waffle maker is okay. It's works well but takes a long time to cook. The main issue I have with it though is that its difficult to clean. It is CONSTANTLY leaking some kind of oil, long after you turn it off and clean it. Every time I pick it up it just streams down from the bottom.Overall, if you want a cheap 4 in 1 grill it's an alright option. If you put some kind of tub underneath and constantly clean it, it might work for you.
