This book is definitely a 5 star book. Seriously, I am not usually thrilled by "business how-to" books. Usually, they give the same information presented in a different fashion. However, this book was different.I am somewhat of a new Etsy seller. I opened my shop about a year ago, and have had some sales but not many. When I saw this book on Amazon, I figured maybe it would help me understand a little more of what I wanted as an Etsy seller. Well....I was blown away from this book. From page one I was hooked. It is a very well written, easy to follow book. I could totally relate to what the author was saying. As a bonus, it came with some worksheets to download,quizzes and exercises to help me understand myself and how I run my shop. It was very interesting to find out how I see my personality and myself as an Etsy seller. He even gave tips on how to go about running your business in regards to your personality, as well as suggestions about things to try to make your business run smoother. When I first started selling on Etsy, I thought it would be just "list your items and they would sell". Now I realize there is so much more to running a business. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to all online handmade sellers, not just Etsy. You will be glad you did!!! To understand the other "50% of Etsy Sucess", I am going to now read the second book by Jason Malinak, Etsy-Preneurship: Everything You Need to Know to Turn Your Handmade Hobby Into a Thriving Business.

This book really will help anyone who's starting an online business or struggling with their existing one.There are quizzes and exercises to help you figure out what type of shop to open and what type of personality you have for your Etsy shop. This book was an eye opener for me. I previously had thought selling on Etsy would be like selling on eBay but the truth is, if you want to have a business, you have to work at it. This book gives you lots of ideas and suggestions of things to try to make your business run better. Jason has another book, "Etsy-Preneurship: Everything You Need to Know to Turn Your Handmade Hobby Into a Thriving Business". That's next on my reading list before I start selling online.

I found this book super easy to read- well organized and non-repetitive (as in the ideas aren't explained over and over in a slightly different way as so many other similar books seem to be. It states the idea, explains it, and moves on) The tests are extremely helpful in figuring out what your strengths and weaknesses are, and plenty of information is given on what to do once you know, such as how to use that to your advantage and next steps. Overall, I found it to be a very complete book and feel that my time reading it was well spent (I walked away with information I can use immediately)

Jason Malinak has helped me realize that having an Etsy shop isn't just about the product, but about who I am and how I represent myself as I create items to sell. The quizzes give me self-confidence -- "I can do this" -- and motivation to push myself even further as a business owner.I've learned a lot from this book and will certainly refer back to it from time to time when I need a confidence boost.

This book is exactly what you need for your business foundation as an Etsy Seller, it helps to bring out your greatest! I really connected with the author, I caught myself reading exactly what I was thinking a few times! The book makes you feel strong and confident about yourself and your skills! Thanks Jason, looking forward to read Etsy Preneurship next and will definitely read any books that you will write in the near future!

The design is really very strange. I have received just printed version of ebook. the most strange thing is the contents. With no page numbers printed links

I've been slowly making my way through the kindle version of this book over the past month and I really like it. Much better priced than the $100 online class I paid for on a similar topic and just as effective.

There are much better books on the market on the same subject, so look through them first or try your local library

Ho trovato questo libro molto utile per la mia attività su etsy. Non sapevo esattamente da dove cominciare e le pagine di questo libro mi hanno aiutata a destreggiarmi in un mondo sconosciuto dandomi davvero ottimi suggerimenti che, applicati, hanno portato ai risultati che speravo.Se davvero devo trovare una pecca alla guida è la lingua inglese che, non essendo accessibile a tutti, penalizza sicuramente il prodotto, però c'è anche da specificare che nel settore sono poche le guide in lingua italiana davvero valide, questo perchè etsy in Italia non ha così tanto seguito come nel resto del mondo.Tornassi indietro lo riacquisterei, sempre in formato kindle, per averlo sempre a portata di mano!
