Worked on 4" sewer pipe
I noticed a leak in my basement, and dang it, if you didn't have hearing you'd miss it, but there it was, a 3 inch long narrow hole at the bottom of the pipe. Several of these helps stop and fix the leak, while the sewage was running through it. Hope this stays working a long time, hate to see the bill the plumber would have given me, so this blue tape is a hero. Get more, because you'll need it.

Did the job, fast and easy
Had a slight leak at the connection for one of my radiators. Unfortunately, it is in the ground floor and the entire building's heat system would have to be drained to fix it properly - not something I want to do when it's 25 degrees out. Used Blue Monster to seal it. You have to stretch this stuff really tight and use a lot more than you might think, but it works as advertised.

Helped seal out gas leak.
This held our gas leak while we waited on a plumber to replace.

It did not work for my application
This may work on a horizontal run (if the leak is on top) but I had a tiny leak (a drop at a time with a few seconds interval) on a vertical pipe and no amount of this stuff wrapped as tight as I could do it could prevent that crop from finding a way out.
