The higher your training (exercise) intensity, the faster you deplete your body of carbohydrates (glucose and glycogen), amino acids (the building blocks of protein), fat (triglycerides, consisting of fatty acids and glycerol), water and electrolytes (e.g. Sodium, potassium). Your body's#1 and #2 nutritional priorities are, in order, replacing carbohydrates and amino acids. Failure to replace carbohydrates can cause your body to catabolize (break down) muscle tissue resulting in serious losses of muscle mass, strength, speed and power. The mass-peak formula mixes up with water or milk to create a delicious shake that begins addressing your body's #1 and #2 priorities the instant you swallow it. Each serving drives lean carbohydrate (102 g) and protein calories (50 g) into your tired muscles accompanied by essential fatty acids (EFAS), medium-chain triglycerides (MCTS) (for fast energy) and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) (to preserve lean mass). The combined effect is to allow you to gain muscle mass, speed and strength incredibly faster and keep every pound of it thereafter. This protects and enhances your ability to sustain higher muscular forces at higher speeds, also known as speed X strength, or power. And when it comes to performance, power is what defines a great athlete.

Don't let these reviews fool you (DETAILED REVIEW) 5/5
I was skeptical about buying this due to some of the reviews regarding the thickness of the shake. IT'S A "MASS" GAINER, IT WON'T BE LIKE WATER!Mix-ability- 4/5. Definitely wasn't the best using 4 scoops, there would still be some powder left unmixed at the top of the shake, but nothing you can't wash down easily. Best way in my opinion is use 2 scoops about halfway through a workout, then 2 scoops post workout to make sure you get 1 full serving.Tase - 4/5. Personally, i'm not a big chocolate fan, but this is a pretty unique taste. One that you won't get sick of, but one that you can't really find anywhere else either. Not the cleanest taste, but definitely not close to the worse.Effectiveness - 5/5. Haven't been sore since i've taken this. Clean calories and protein which makes you full for a couple hours and also gives you a great pumped look. Results - 5/5. I have been taking this product for about 4 weeks now, and I must say i'm impressed with the results I have received. Not only am I getting vascular and defined in a lot of areas, I am packing on mass as well. But remember, diet is the main key to muscle or fat loss, working out is only about 30%. But add this into a right diet plan and a general workout routine, and you have my word you won't regret this purchase.Value - 5/5. Most people rate the Value low for products like this generally due to the serving amount, profile of ingredients, and cost. But what people don't understand is this product is 10 dollars cheaper then Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard (Top protein of the year for years now), but surpasses the ingredients of that product without hesitation. Most protein sources only offer anywhere from 4g's of Amino Acids (BCAA'S) to about 10g's. This product offers an outstanding 24g's of BCAA's and Glutamine which in the end, not only helps with soreness, but also helps with rebuilding the muscles properly and filling them with the essential protein you need after you tear your fibers.Overall - 5/5. This is my first run with this product, but the way I feel after a workout and drinking this, the way their ingredient profile is, I won't think twice before purchasing another tub of this. I recommend this to anyone looking to gain some lean mass and not any additional fat since they are clean calories, and with a proper exercise routine, those clean calories will turn into lean muscle, not fat.Hope y'all enjoyed the review! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Good price, decent taste
This product is a great weight gainer with a good amount of protein per serving. The taste (with milk) is decent. However, with two scoops, it requires a fair amount of shaking to dissolve and even then, it is still a bit gritty. Still, like I said, it taste pretty good so you can get paste the consistency. Put on over ten pounds in less than two weeks with 2-3 shakes per day.

Not bad , not great . Right in the middle.
My supplement reviews are based on just a few categories . Value , Taste and results . So with that said ,Value : At about $65 for 23 ish servings , it's not exactly a bad deal (or a particularly great deal) but considering the ingredient and nutrient profile it's decent.Taste : I ordered the strawberry flavor and it was really good , mixes in a shaker with no problems , easy going down and didn't upset my stomach or leave me feeling bloated even when taken with milk. There was a slight yet distinct "artificial strawberry chemical aftertaste" but it wasn't too bad . Overall I like the flavor. Results : This is a little harder to gauge since a lot of other aspects come in to play here .But I took this on a bulk about 5 times per week and I managed to add some new/increased muscle mass over the course of a month. Conclusion : It was a decent enough product although there are similar products out there for less $ and more servings per bottle . But if I couldn't get my hands on one of my other preferred products , I would order this again.

Nutrition Facts changed
This use to be one of the lowest cholesterol gainers on the market and I used it for years. But they've recently changed the formula. It now contains nearly double the sodium and saturated fat and 135mg of cholesterol as opposed to the 5mg it previously contained. I called the company to confirm the label was accurate, and it is. The picture shows the new nutrition facts.

Flavor is good, but the texture is not
I love this brand of protein and I have always purchased the strawberry flavor. This time I wanted to change it a little bit so I chose chocolate. The flavor is very good, I have no complains there, but the problem is that when I mix it in my shaker with either milk or water, it produces a very thick and foamy shake, that fills your stomach with air. It almost doubles in volume and makes it more difficult to drink it. The first couple of weeks It was difficult to drink it, but now I got used to it. I just decreased the dose. I use one and a half scoops of product with about 12 to 16 ounces of milk + water. Sometimes I put it in the blender and add a banana, so it is kind of a treat to drink it that way.If you are looking for a lighter, easier to drink protein shake, I recommend the strawberry variety.Oh, by the way, it does work, I have gained about 4 pounds of muscle in a month, but I also started eating better.
