Seller shipped unit fast and it arrived sooner than expected. Unit works as it should, sound is okay considering the size of the speakers. So far we are happy with this unit.

This cd/cassette combo worked on a basic level, it played cds and cassettes, and also recorded the tapes as well. However, it randomly died after 4 years of use. So, I had to order a different one that will hopefully last longer.

Bought this for my daughter and it works great. It’s perfect for both her cds and cassettes! Easy to carry and use.

Volume/speaker out put lacking!!15-20 feet away song words/melody not clear. I hear my neighbors poolside music w/more clarity at 300+feet away. Unfortunately I didn't try this JENSEN CD -550 portable stereo/compact disc cassette recorder w/ AM/FM radio for $35.79 until 16 days passed my return eligibility date. There have been moments of silence here & there during CD play on new CD'S as well. I got this thing to play CD collection in a 30"x35'' area. I have less than 2 hours play time trying it out. IT IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED FROM JENSEN. I'M OUT OF $35.7 & THE MUSIC I HAVE MISSED HEARING. Sitting beside the player w/ the VOLUME all the up is not loud enough for my MOTHER to yell "turn it down". Sitting beside it is the only way one may get the benefit from the sound of music. PARDON the PUN. RUN, save your money or grab 2 cans & a string & sing, same difference.

My son to got this CD player/ AM-FM cassette radio for me on Amazon. The price was very good. It was smaller (a good thing) than the unit I was replacing which was 22 years old. The antenna is internal which is also good because the old unit's antenna broke off. I don't like that this unit DOES NOT have a AM/FM frequency indicator on its face, but it's on the rotator tuning wheel. It's clumsy and a little hard to read. The LCD/LEDs are too bright and the power cord keeps slipping out the back (I used my old power cord which fits snugly and securely). The sound is fantastic and the cassette player works flawlessly!

Light and easy to move around to different areas of the yard or house. Sounds great. Can use included electical cord or batteries. I like it and use it on my deck when I'm grilling or chilling!!

Electrical plug does not fit snugly into the radio. Had to keep putting it in. Radio is fine.
