I am new to the UK and do not want to speak harshly over my host country. But I doubt that your water system has enough water pressure to make this system work. I am amazed at what the water companies are legally permitted to call adequate pressure. I had to buy an auxiliary pump to get the pressure up enough to get this filter working correctly. But when I did it was great. I did not test the actual output but I am sure it is up to the advertised output rate. The point of the output rate is not to actually produce that amount of water during the day. Rather it is how fast it recovers from a burst of heavy use and be ready for another. We have lots of users and uses in our family and it is very abundant. At the right pressure that water taste excellent. The fishy taste came from too low of pressure. I suppose the water takes too long to get through the filter and picks up a taste. The instructions were very clear.

Ordered thus to boost my water pressure as it was to low to produce RO water at a decent rate.Putting it all together was ok. The instructions were fine to follow. Set up and installation was fairly straightforward.It works fine, and its not to loud when running.
