Deep Cycle Marine Battery, Group 31, 900 CCA, Top Post

This battery came highly recommended, I actually searched an AGM battery and came across this one, which once I got it I realized is not an AGM. I wish that had been made clearer in the description or did not come up in a search for an AGM. Maybe it did and I missed it...anyway I decided to use it ratehr than send it back and so far it is working great to start my Merc. 225 OPTI MAX as well as run the Talons and graphs on my Bass Boat. One thing I always look for is longevity with Batteries, I have gotten 5-6 years out of all my AGM's over the years. So time will tell with this one but a few months in now and all is good

Bought this battery to handle the multiple electronics plus other accessories in my Bass Boat. The "brand x" 29 series would run out of power at the end of an 8 hour tournament day and do not want to run "parallel" batteries.This is a liquid battery. Must mount upright. Battery post are larger than normal to handle the power. You may have to change out or drill out your boat's ring terminals to connect the boat wiring to the battery. Size 3/8". Satisfied so far but not yet tournament tested.

Great battery but I didn’t care for it having to be vented I was planning to us it in the center console of my boat but instead used it on my camper due to having to vent

Arrived quickly and in great shape. Extreme packaging assures this. Actually takes a bit to get through all of it. Simple install with both terminals and threaded posts matching with stock Sea Ray fittings. Arrived fully charged.Installed dead of winter in boat with full enclosure. 3-months in with about 12 excursions and running very strong. Several were in 20 degree and less weather. Have long periods on anchor running all the comforts of home on battery power. Still firing engines strong every time windlass pulls up anchor. Even after 6 plus hours on battery.Time will tell but very good start.
