Our daughter (4 years old) loves it. The shark villain is cool and the story is one of overcoming fears and helping friends. Good messages.

I borrowed this from my local library to read to my 3-year-old daughter. She loved the story and was actually following along while I read it to her. She's usually doesn't sit still for long and she sat through all of this. It was a good story that focuses' on Kitana and an upcoming swimming test in Super Hero High. Then they have to deal with King Shark ( think that's the villain's name ) and swim to save the day. The art is very eye-catching on each page and still simple enough to get the point of the page across. The reading level isn't too bad, it's high enough for my daughter to be interested, but not so bad that she doesn't understand. My daughter gets bored with level one stories being read to her, so it depends on your child.

A great bedtime story for preschoolers!
An excellent book, especially for three year olds. My daughter is almost four and she has requested that I read this book to her at least five times already since we got it.
