I wasn't wanting to spend this much on a zippo lighter but when I saw this example it shouted "BUY ME" so I did. It came in the usual plain zippo plastic box, If I were to give this as a present, I'd probably shell out a little more money and buy the leather pouch too and wrap it myself.The lighter is a lovely design and there isn't anything like it for less money on the major auction sites.Very pleased.

Bought for hubby for 25th Wedding Anniversary and he was very pleased with it. Looks just as picture shown and is good quality. Appears very solid and the 3d design looks brilliant. Hubby was very happy with it. Recommended.

I bought this design as I have a thing for Pirate memorabilia. As some of the other reviews say, the design is not etched onto the zippo but is on a metallic plate that is attached to the Zippo, but for me that hasn't reduced the quality of the design.I have nothing bad to say about the design itself, but I do have an issue with Zippo's in general which is that they require almost constant refilling, not due to over use but due to the fact that the lighter fluid evaporates. It's generally recommended to keep the Zippo upright but this is very difficult when carrying it in your pocket. However, when the Zippo does have fluid, it really is able to light in the wind, so in that respect it does what it says it will do.
