Good improvement in viewing tv
Got these for my husband who has GA/AMD . He was practically on top of the 55” tv in order to see it. He said people’s mouths look like they were sewn up, or missing. With these glasses, he is sitting on the couch which is across the room from the tv and seeing well!He says he needs to look straight ahead , but it’s not uncomfortable.I tried them and thought they were pretty great! I however, don’t have any blind spots as he does.Things looked very clear, and larger. We think they were well worth the price. They came from Japan and although they were delayed at customs, it didn’t take that long to get them. Maybe two weeks. There is a “restocking fee “ if you return them. Be sure to check it out!

Glasses were of no help
Glasses were of no help in letting my mother see the TV. There is very little adjusting on each lens-not at all like a pair of binoculars. They were very cheaply made. If they would have helped her to see TV, I could have overlooked the low quality. They were not worth the large amount of money they cost. I have returned the glasses and I am waiting for my money to be returned.

Stems break easily
I have AMD, and these glasses gave me SOME help watching TV, but the glasses are cheaply made and the stems break too easily. The stem of my SECOND just broke off and I’ve only had them two months. The break is not reparable. Disappointed….i expected more from a brand with the reputation of Eschenbach.

Perfect for visually impaired
I bought these locally for a bit more money for my Dad. I was happily surprised to see the identical branded glasses on Amazon for quite a bit less money. Compare prices. You will see.

A total waste of my money!
These glasses did not work for me. I have tried them at a variety of distances. If I close one eye, I can see most of the details on a TV screen, but no matter which eye I use the image is always a blur. It’s even worse with both eyes open.I was skeptical from the start. Now I know why. This was an overpriced mistake I hope to never make again! My advice: Run away from these “TV Glasses” as fast as you can!

Good at magnifying.
Can't really rate this other than a magnifying glass. AMD affects each person differently and the user differently at different times of day. But, they work as magnifying glasses and work on using the TV.

I have macular degeneration and have been wearing these glasses for17 years. This was only my second pair - they are well made and allow me to watch tv almost perfectly

THESE WORK!!! My Dad is 96 and has Macular Degemeration,
Got these for my Dad who suffers from Macular Degeneration. I didn't have sufficient reviews or info to be sure that these would work. However I had to try. He received them a few days ago and called me immediately very pleased. He said the adjusters were a little difficult for tender hands but that with a little patience he got them adjusted to suit him. We concluded that some difficult adjusting for him was well worth the fact that once adjusted these stayed adjusted. It is hard to relate just what an improvement in life these "Eschenbach MaxTV Glasses" have made in this mans life. He is elated as to how he can now enjoy TV so much more now. He can also see the TV in his bedroom and see things around the house much better if he wishes.NOTE: These have a limited field of view, that is side to side and up and down. Dad wanted me to make sure and advise against trying to stand or walk around with binocular glasses on. Although, knowing him, he may have tested that to some extent.Thank You Eschenbach for such a wonderful thing.
