Not worth the cost!
Didn't cost much, but then I didn't get much either. Thought this might be a fun project. I was wrong. The hole for the clock mechanism was not even centered in the frame. Using the easiest tile layout guide, there was no space left for the grout in between the tiles. Generally a total waste of time and money. But again, you get what you pay for, and it will not look anything like the pictures. Trust me!

more difficult than I expected - but a decent clock.
Pretty difficult to cut tiles, and set the middle peice in the grout for the clock mechanism. Also I could not get the minute hand onto the middle spoke without breaking the mechanism - so I had to insert it upside down and use a marker to paint it black. I love crafts, but this was really too much work for the finished product. Gave 3 stars because it contained all peices, had plenty of tiles for the style I chose (the main pic posted) and the clock keeps good time so far.

Quick, Easy Kit!
I got this for my teen daughter to do. The clock was a bit smaller than I'd hoped (only about 5" square--I'd been picturing about 2x that in my head), but the instructions were good, the tile nipper worked very well, and the patterns were easy to follow. Even the grout didn't make a huge mess! My daughter (13) was able to complete this kit all on her own in an afternoon, and is VERY pleased with the end result! I'd recommend you use this in a smaller space, like a bathroom because of the size, but other than that, this was a nice, complete kit and a great introduction into mosaics for my daughter!

Great Kit
I do Mosaic art and this kit was so much fun. I did not have to do much thinking or cutting of the pieces.

Cool Craft But Clock Mechanism Doesn't Work
My 10 year-old grand daughter created this REALLY AWESOME tile mosaic clock for her Paw Paw. She used the tiles to construct her own design.Unfortunately, the clock does not work. I could not find another clock from Antiquity Mosaics and I really did not want to purchase a whole new kit just for the clock. So, I ordered a new mechanism from another company because this finished craft is just too beautiful not to hang and use.Don't tell my grand daughter! Good luck.
