UNABLE TO GET IT TO CORRECT ATOMIC TIME - WHICH IS USA CENTRAL - IT IS 1 HR OFF - I TRIED ADJUSTING MANUALLY WON'T WORK - BUT SETTING ALARM BOTH BUTTONS WORK FINE. NO CHOICE BUT RETURNING IT....

Loud and accurate, my blind father loves it! He can understand the words and hear them and he loves being able to know the time whenever he wants to!

Ordered this for my nearly blind 93 yr old mom. It works well and is easy to use, however the voice has an English accent. My mom has difficulty understanding the time. The first push give the time, the second push give day and date, the third push says whether the clock is updated. She understand how it operates and just keeps pushing the button until she's heard it enough to understand it. Tiresome but not a reason to avoid ordering it. The fact that the clock is atomic convinced me to buy it. Works well and I love that it will adjust for her without her having to rely on someone to come change the time for her.

Bought this for my 92 year old dad who is always getting his days confused and has macular degeneration so it's hard to see clocks and such ... I expected to press the button once and get the day, date & time. Not 3 times for the time, day/date, and atomic clock status. All of that information should come with one press of the button. I'll have to see how much Dad uses it for that reason, but had I known you had to press the button 3 times to cycle around - I would probably have chosen a different product.

Good price on a quality clock. The Atomic time set makes it so easy to use. I set it near my playing radio,and less than a minute later the correct time was set. The 3 level loudness level is also a nice feature on this great little helper for people in need.

I bought this for a gift but the controls are under and fairly small. It is designed for visually impaired but not well designed for their use. We had difficulty setting it up for my mother in law and returned it.

I gave this as a gift to two people. One is very pleased with it to help her know the day of the week as well as for the time. The other is not used as her mind gets easily confused and she doesn't remember she can use it.It does what it is designed for very well. A bit broader volume control might be helpful. Those with hearing problems might need more volume than the highest setting. Hearing aids do solve that problem.
