Game Reaper Thompson Center/Contender - Medium Mount
The product seems well made. The gun screws that attach the mount to the barrel were too long. I was unable to tighten the mount all the way down. I put small washers down into the holes on the mount as spacers. Now the screws were too short. The spacers/washers were pushed down in there tight, I couldn't get them out. I had to go buy slightly longer gun screws to make it work. The UTG 2-7X32 1" scope barely fit the length of the scope mount. I made everything work but it was more work than I was expecting. This was on a 14" T/C barrel.

A great mount "BUT"
The Game Reaper IMHO is a nicer mount than the one that T/C offers under their brand name, but one of the cool things about the T/C's is their barrel swap capability and like most owners I have more than one barrel,,,, so,,,, if I was going to do it again, I would just mount a MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rail on all my barrels, that way I would only need one scope with quick release rings that would easily swap from barrel to barrel, I could even use the same scope on other guns with picatinny rails. I would need to re-zero the scope every time, but with modern laser guided machining methods the parts are so close to identical that re-zeroing only takes a few clicks, and instead of buying severalmid-level scopes, I could splurge on one Hi-end scope.I recently experimented with this idea, I have picatinny rails on 3 pistols, a 44 Mag Ruger SRH revolver, a 22 Ruger MK II semi-auto, and a 6 inch Dan Wesson 357 revolver, when I swapped the scope (at the range) between the 3 my POIat 50 yards changed by less than 3 inches between the 3 guns, "typically at this yardage the 2 revolvers are more affected by changes in bullet weight",,,, this might not work as well on rifles where eye-relief can be more critical.

My go to scope base for my Contender
These are great scope mounts. I’ve bought two of these that I have mounted on two of my contender barrels. The fit is perfect and they are great quality. I love having a one piece base and rings, less pieces means less chance of loosing zero with your scope when you shoot.

Game Reaper Scope Mount
Anybody who has used Game Reaper mounts is aware that the quality is unmatched by any other mount. I have these on all my rifles, and I'm thankful they make them for so many models! Very lightweight & incredibly strong.

Great price and product.
Installed this evening on my Thompson Center Contender. Instructions were great, install went smooth. Very light weight. Color is very similar to the silver on my Nikon 3-9x40 scope and the silver of the Contender. Though I haven't shot it yet (tomorrow hopefully if the rain slows down), this seems to be a good solid mount.

Good value, easy to install
This mount was easy to install on my Contender and easy to mount the scope, with no alignment problems between front and rear rings. Stands up well to heavy recoil with no change in scope alignment. While it's a bit pricey, it's not out of line with MOST other quality base and ring combinations.

Customer was happy
I installed this for a customer on a Thompson Center .223. It is a Great quality mount. The screws are tough and torqable, not soft garbage. The customer was very happy and the mount is sturdy and looks good on the pistol. www.gunsmith.us.com
