Dog Car Seat with Seat Belt and Strong Padded Sides - Waterproof Pet Booster Seat Cover - for Small / Medium Dogs and Puppies

Fits nicely on the front seat of my Yaris. My dog is a very nervous traveller (being a new rescue who came from overseas) and I needed something to help him feel safe and secure for the short journeys we are taking whilst trying to build up his confidence. Easy to install, although the sides can be unzipped to make it flat if a human wants to sit there without having to remove it. There is an opening on both sides.. secured with velcro, for a dog seat belt to be threaded through and clipped into the car seatbelt socket. There is also an integrated seatbelt as part of the seat but I wouldn’t feel safe relying on that. I have filled the box with blankets and he can curl up inside - he is a slim, long limbed but medium size 11kg dog. The quality of the product is very good and I am pleased with my purchase.

Very happy with this. It’s great for the dog to have a designated spot in the car and I like the way it fits around the car seat to hold it securely in place. It’s easy to fold down and the harness clip is adjustable which will be ideal for when the puppy gets bigger

It’s a useful addition to the car although in fairness the sides are not so strong.

I bought this to use as my dog got older and didn't need to be crate contained anymore whilst travelling. The box came flat packed in its own storage bag. It took me less then five minutes to zip up the sides and install securely in my car. One strap goes around the middle of the seat and one strap goes around the headrest. You just pull the straps tight until the box sits securely and doesn't move around. There is a sturdy strap inside the box which you clip onto your dog's harness but I also use a second harness strap which I have secured separately. The ease of installation also means it is quick to break down and store back in the bag when not required. It is easy to keep clean when needed and I have popped in a vet fleece & blanket for comfort. My boy can easily stand, sit or lie down and travels well in this box. I would say from a personal point of view that, if you have a SMALL breed dog, this box is better for junior/adult dogs rather than a puppy simply because the internal strap to clip onto the harness would be too long even when adjusted to its smallest size. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to other dog owners.

Great purchase! Very comfortable and safe for my dog but…once it was delivered to me and I’ve opened it, it smells really bad. Till this day I haven’t been able to get rid of the smell. How can I wash the seat? Washable in the washing machine?

This bed is great value, it has plenty of room for my toy poodle, the sides stay ridged the chair does not move , I had recently purchased a known expensive brand but sold it , this it far better

Ich habe wirklich lange auf amazon gesucht, endlich diesen Sitz gefunden und bin bislang zufrieden. Einen Autositz für Hunde mit folgenden Ansprüchen zu finden, war nicht einfach: 1) Zunächst musste die Größe passen. Wir haben einen Zwergpinscher-frz. Bulldogge-Mischling, der unter 40 cm Rückenhöhe hat, Kopfhöhe knapp unter 50 cm. Auch wenn es auf den Fotos vielleicht nicht so aussieht, passt es perfekt. Unser Hund hat mehr als genug Platz, auch wenn er sich hinlegt. Klar, kann er sich nicht ausstrecken, aber zusammengerollt hinlegen geht gut. Der Sitz ist ziemlich genau so groß wie der Autositz, nur minimal größer. 2) Zum leichteren Einstieg und auch zum individuellen Anpassen (kuscheln oder ähnliches) wollte ich möglichst runter klappbare Seitenwände haben. War kein Muss (hat ja auch Nachteile, siehe nächster Punkt). 3) Der Sitz soll den Hund beim Bremsen möglichst wirkungsvoll halten. Dazu suchte ich ein Körbchen mit stabilen Seitenwände, welches unten und oben sicher befestigt werden kann. Mir wäre da verkleidetes Metall als Seitenwand am liebsten, es handelt sich hier vermutlich um stabile Pappe oder weiches Plastik. Insofern musste ich einen Kompromiss eingehen. Bisher hält die Seitenwand, wenn er seinen Kopf darauf ablegt, aber ich denk mal, irgendwann wird dort ein Delle entstehen. Ansonsten sichert unten und oben jeweils ein Gurt, um den Sitz bzw der Kopfstütze das Körbchen ab. Wenn es hart auf hart kommt, kann das Körbchen natürlich nicht allein den Hund auffangen, schon wegen der Reißverschlüsse, die eine natürliche Schwachstelle bilden. 4) Ebenso sollte durch ein Loch der Hund über einen Gurt direkt am Schloss des Sicherheitsgurtes angeschlossen werden können. An beiden Seiten sind Löcher vorhanden. Da hat jemand mitgedacht! 5) Das Körbchen sollte nicht hängen, sondern auf dem Sitz aufliegen, und das nur bis zum Sitzrand und nicht darüber. einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Gurte sind zu lang. Erst beim absolut möglichen Kürzen der Gurte waren sie straff.

Veramente un eccellente prodotto! Perfetto per il sedile davanti, adattabile a quello dietro. Consiglio di usare cmq pettorina+cintura di sicurezza.

Dudé bastante entre comprar este asiento porque era algo más caro que la media. Ya lo hemos estrenado y no puedo estar más contenta, es súper práctico que tenga velcros a ambos lados para poder pasar el cinturón (yo prefiero que el cinturón vaya anclado al coche, aunque este asiento trae también su propio enganche. Los velcros están muy bien disimulados (me costó encontrarlos, creí que no existían) y el asiento desplegado es bastante amplio. Yo lo he puesto con los laterales subidos y el frontal desplegado, de tal forma que si me giro veo la cara de mi chica durmiendo, me quedo así más tranquila. Es algo acolchado por lo que da comodidad, y no se resbala del asiento. La parte del respaldo es ajustable a la hora de sujetarla al reposacabezas y el acabado es perfecto. No da la sensación de cutrez de otras fundas o asientos. Además viene con una bolsa por si quieres ponerlo de manera puntual, o quitarlo y dejarlo guardado. Muy contenta.
