Smartshake SLIM, 17 oz Shaker Cup, Black (Packaging May Vary)

To be honest, the only reason I bought these is because they dropped down to $3.49 each. So I bought 3 of them. I will say, I like the size. I find that most blender bottles / shaker cups come in two general sizes, 27/28oz which is way bigger than I need 75% of the time, or little 12oz which would be okay, but their short and fat and if you want to mix powder with 12oz of water, you’re overfilling. These are the perfect in between, compact for the size. I actually love the way they blend, with no metal ball clanging around inside. I like the compartments that twist on easily, and the mini carabiners to clip them to items you’re already carrying. Overall, very happy with these for the price I paid, and more than likely will be snagging another 5-7 of these in various sizes whenever I see them under $5.

I've been using this for years, this is my second one. I got a replacement because some [mildew?] wasn't coming out of some of the harder to reach crevices in the lid where it screws on to the cup. So the drink will never touch that area when in use but still... it was time for a new one. It mixes up protein powder really well, I've tried all types in this thing. I've mixed other types of powdered drinks in here too and always a good result. I use this as my measuring cup for a lot of things too, lol. Just make sure when you shake it you have your finger in the little divot in the top to press it down and keep it secure. In all my years of owning it, I only had one incident where I catastrophically spilled some liquid while shaking it, and that's because it was early in the am and I didn't press the top part in to the hole securely enough. All in all, good shaker. Had to hunt this listing down as the original listing from when I brought it years ago is nowhere to be found. I don't want to try another shaker when it's time for a new one as I don't like the ones with the metal ball. This one just works which means I'd better take >better< care of it.

I have bought several of these shaker cups. I personally prefer the strainer lid to the shaker ball cups as I feel it does a better job of mixing, and it helps strain out big clumps as you drink. I love the storage compartment and interchangeability of this cup. They really have thought of everything! While the regular cup (not the slim version) is very innovative with its storage abilities, I find it too big to fit comfortably in my small hands and is useless in any cup holder. This slim version is my go to. If I had to find a complaint, which it is hard to do with these cups, is that it needs to be washed quickly after use, or at least rinsed, as it tends to stink pretty bad if left to sit all day with any kind of protein or powder based beverage in it previously. But that’s more the beverages fault than the cup. I take it apart to wash and wash all pieces on the top rack without any issues. Like I said, I have bought several and love them all. I have even converted my boyfriend to the bigger version of this cup as opposed to his blender bottle with the shaker ball.

3 stars for durability. 5 stars for functionality. I had the larger SmartShake and like many others, the top ripped; for me, it took about 2 years of fairly regular use before it ripped. I didn't need the large shaker, so I was hoping this newer model would have a sturdier closure system. Unfortunately it does not, so I'm expecting about the same lifetime out of this bottle. Still worth it, in my opinion - see below. For the functionality, I was between this shaker and another that dropped your powder in with a button. The two reasons I decided on this shaker are: 1. there's nothing loose rattling in the bottle after you've finished drinking, and mainly 2. I don't think I've seen a review about one of the best features of the strainer/mixer which is that it keeps ice out. I have a blender bottle (which mixes just as well), but I never use it because of the rattling, and mainly because I put a bunch of ice in my drinks, and towards the end, the ice cubes are able to fit through the mouth hole making it annoying to drink/chug my drinks. Because this uses a strainer, I never have that problem, and that convenience makes it worth the extra cost and potentially shorter life to me.

These are my favorite shaker bottles! The price is right and I love the strainers. They’re so much better than the whisk balls typically found in other bottles. They do a great job of mixing my shakes and are also just the right size for me. I only make 10oz at a time but I could easily do a 12-14oz portion in it if I wanted to. They clean up well too (as long as you don’t forget one in the car for a week). So far they seem to be as durable as the more well known, brand name blending bottles I’ve had in the past. My only complaint is that one of my three has a spout that is tough to open. Overall, I’m very happy with these and will purchase again in the future.

I love the color of this shaker and it’s compactness. It’s definitely thinner than a blender bottle but works just as fine for me. There is no ball included but the detachable lid comes with a strainer to help mix your drinks. I use mine for both my preworkout and protein and haven’t had any issues with mine. The color is true to the picture and even comes with a little carabiner but I always make sure to dry it right away after washing because I get afraid of it rusting. Overall would recommend.

A lot of reviews thought the bottle is small but I think it's a great size since it's suppose to be a slimmer version of the original bottles. It's easy to twist off with my small hands and it fits in cup holders. The main reason for my purchase is for the separate storage compartment, which is really handy and I like how it doesn't come with a wire whisk ball since I didn't want to carry around a rattling bottle. That being said, the strainer itself isn't going to be able to thoroughly mix your drink without clumps. It's not the worst but your drink won't be smooth. I ordered the smartshaker in the color "cotton pink" but when I received it, it looked more like their "pale lilac" shade. I'm not sure if I was sent the wrong color or the pictures on here aren't accurate but the label says "purple". Also, there are scratch marks on the bottle which makes it look like a used product. I'm okay with it because it was pretty cheap but it would be nice if it said so in the product information box.

Bought them to mix protein powder into milk hoping the "mixer" worked better than the little spring or plastic balls most use, and it does. In fact, it works a LOT better. I had switched to using a blender due to how badly the mixer balls worked in the several different cups I've bought. But this bottle leaves absolutely no gritty texture whatsoever.(protein powder, oddly enough, doesn't like to mix with liquids, including milk and needs quite aggressive mixing to get really smooth) All of the parts are pretty solid, especially the top. But the threads that hold the little cup onto the bottom are tiny, and don't go all the way around. Also,the bottom cup is slightly flexible at the top where the threads are. It's currently holding pretty good, but there's not much there to compensate for any amount of normal wear and tear. I'll post an update if the bottom threads deteriorate with use, but overall I'm almost jump and and down happy with them. I've been washing a blender 2-3 times a day(plus the travel cup) for well over a month. Pretty well over it. These are much better.

Die Slim-Version bietet merklich weniger Inhalt und kein zusätzliches Pillenfach. Dies braucht sie auch nicht. Der Inhalt reicht auch für einen Guten Löffel Eiweisspulver vollkommen aus. Man bekommt diesen auch gut gemischt in der Größe. Alles im allen der perfekte Shaker für sie. Positiv: + 100% dicht + BPA frei + Tolle Farbe + Perfektes Mischergebnis + Spülmaschinenfest + sehr schnelle Lieferung. Neutral: o Der doch stolze Preis für Shaker dieser Marke. Habe meine Smartshaker schon seit Jahren in Gebrauch. Funktionieren weiterhin perfekt. Alles im allen eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Very practical bottle. Boiling water doesn't warp it, so that helps remove the stench of old protein shake when cleaning. Perfect size for carrying it in a backpack. Lid screws on securely and snaps shut with no chance of opening up unless dropped. I removed the inbuilt plastic mesh for mixing, and use a regular steel spring ball instead.

I really like the smaller size of this shaker. I had already forgotten I bought a pink one, as it lost it's coller really fast. I now have a cute small white shaker.
