Great case, but has problem with on/off button which was resolved with a small piece of rubber inserted on the inside of the cavity of the button of the case to improve contact with the phone on/off button.It took me a while by trial and error to trim a piece of rubber taken from a sheet of handicraft rubber of about 1/8 inch thick to fit the cavity.The final piece measured around 5/8 inch by about 1/8 inch. Make sure you trim the corners for better fit.You may try using a wide piece of rubber band which you may have around the house. Good luck.Updated July 28, 2015Purchased a black case from another seller to compare.Positive:Holes were cut out for the volume buttons and on/off button, which made it easy to work the sound buttons and on/off button of the cellfone. Hole for the charger plug also fitted properly.Negative:The case cover which folds back did not have any magnet to hold it in position when folded back or when case is closed, material and finish of lesser quality.I am now fully satisfied with the brown case purchased earlier, raising it to five stars, with the home improvement mentioned in my earlier review. So far case looks a good as a new after a few weeks of use.

This is a really nice case. However, you cannot operate the power or volume switches when the Alcatel One Touch Pop Icon phone is inserted. I used a razor/exacto knife to cut away the entire length of the case edge that obstructs the switches, leaving them completely accessible. It was either that or return the case. I'm not sure this is a worthwhile effort for many people. Having done the work, I can say I am pleased with what I have.

This does the job! I like the leather bound mahogany case and it really keeps the phone intact. But, they must have had an oversight on the volume and on/off button part, cause the gel that covers it makes it difficult to press them. There should have been a slot opened for both of these important functions. That's why I would only give it 4 stars, but I do like the price and extra accessories that came with it.

The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is the hard to use power and volume keys that are covered with the plastic. As I use it, it gets easier either because I am getting used to it or the plastic that covers it is becoming more pliable. The brown is high quality and professional looking. Have had many people comment on it.

CASE STUDY : IT's Still alive. I have dropped my new Pop Icon cel in this new case twice. Once, I sort of pushed it off the coffee table and it survived. Second time, I had the cel on the kitchen counter and a can of soup dropped 20 inches, out of the cabinet above. Landing on the cel. I thought this time OH NO. But IT's STILL ALIVE. and well. Only 2 months old I hate to see what other adventures await my Pop Icon A5664C case.

nice case for my allcaltel pop icon. it's bit hard to use this as a stand and get the phone to stand up on it's side as the case is a little slippery. It's possible, just not really stable. I like keeping the face of my phone protected from junk in my pocket.

I DO LIKE MY NEW PHONE COVER, HOWEVER THE CASE IS HARD AND IT IS HARD FOR ME TO TURN MY PHONE BACK ON, AFTER IT GOES TO SLEEP, THINKING OF CUTTING OUT THE PERFERATION ON THE SIDE TO MAKE IT EASIER, LOL!

Case protects the phone, that is its only redeeming value. You have to cut the plastic openings yourself on the sides in order to access your phone's buttons...(Really?!, go try to find that Exacto Knife you have not used in 20 years...) Also, it flips open the "wrong" way; I'm always turning the phone around (the case) in order to have it facing in the proper orientation. Looks good and protects the phone in a sturdy manner; I guess that's the most important function of this case.
