8Pcs Stainless Steel Wire Brushes Wheel kit for Drill with 1/4"shank 0.13mm

There's a few other sets of stainless brushes selling like this but after comparing what I get, I always choose to stick with these. I'm on my 3rd or 4th set I think. Obviously like all wire brushes you'll soon have all the bristles flying out and getting embedded in your remainding eye or all over your pants and shirt. DO NOT EVER USE THESE IN A CARPETED AREA!!!!! But after going through 100s of wire brushes in my line of work that's how they all behave. I just like that these aren't super cheap feeling like the Harbor Freight ones where they keep making them more coarse each year to reduce manufacturing costs. These are pretty soft and do a great job on aluminum without gouging it too much. I use them often to clean up gasket residue or for cleaning up aluminum before welding. I hope the price stays the same, I might not buy them if they go up too much more.

Bought these as a gift for my husband, he was very happy with them.

These are comically bad. I tried using them and they ended up throwing stainless steel wires all over my garage. Some of the brushes are so poorly made that you can just reach down and pull the wires out with your fingers. They don't appear to have any sort of anchoring system to hold them in place really.I attempted to use a few of the brushes and had to stop and vacuum up all the tiny wires which were thrown off the wheels while working. They do work as far as removing rust and their flimsy construction actually did help somewhat in getting into tight areas... however, the fact that they come apart makes them really dangerous to use at any sort of even moderate RPM. In the few minutes I used a couple of the brushes even after just mild use for a couple of minutes, one of them was basically coming apart and no longer any good. So these brushes are very cheap and basically just toys - they are not actual tools for doing any serious garage or shop work. Even the worst wire brushes you find at some place like Sears or Home Depot are miles better.Even if these brushes cost $1 each, I would still say they are a waste of money. They just aren't made well and therefore cannot be used for any sort of cleaning or real work.
