This is bulk packaged VHB tape in convenient widths and lengths, which is nice since otherwise, you might need to buy larger quantities for the width of tape you need. Canopus includes a razor cutter for the tape which is a nice touch. It's basic, but compact which is convenient.For anyone complaining that VHB tape didn't bond or came off easily, there are a number of steps to ensure proper adhesion. Your surfaces should be clean. I'd suggest cleaning with isopropyl or denatured alcohol, acetone, or MEK depending on what they are made out of. Beware acetone and MEK may soften some plastics. You may need to lightly sand the surface for better adhesion, and possibly use 3M #94 primer on some plastics and rubbers (especially EPDM) to get good adhesion. In some cases VHB isn't the right product for your application. If it's not, it may not stick properly. Do your research, check the 3M websites for technical info and/or product recommendations.If you're looking for VHB 5952 that's what you'll get from this seller. If you know how to use it, and properly prepare your surfaces, this stuff bonds tenaciously. It won't last forever, but pretty darn close.

Had the factory model name of my truck come off the doors. So I cleaned the door area to remove all oil, dirt, wax, etc. use a single edged razor blade and remove the old adhesive. It will take some time. The height of my letters was twice as high as this tape is wide. So I applied two strips to the back of each letter set. Let’s get tedious. Use a new single edge razor blade. Cut the excess from between the letters, spaces and along the edges. Put a piece of guide tape where your letters or emblems go. Make sure positioning is perfect. Peel back the backing paper and place your lettering or emblem into place. Press and hold firmly all around up and down and back and forth for several minutes. Repeat on the other side. Fine now for 5 months, we will see what summer heat dies.

I purchased 2 inch thick keep thinking and hoping it would stick to the surface that I was trying to use it on I tried to put a mat on concrete floor and I cut numerous pieces out it was very difficult to take the red off of the tape since there was no instructions at all I wasted tape because trying to take it off it’s stuck to each other it was a waste of my time to even purchase this product I would recommend not to get it as well as not sticking within three days after using it the items that I am hoping that will stick to the ground moved around very quickly.I purchased 2 inch thick tape thinking and hoping it would stick to the surface that I was trying to use it on I tried to put a mat on concrete floor and I cut numerous pieces out it was very difficult to take the red off of the tape since there was no instructions at all I wasted tape because trying to take it off it’s talk to each other it was a waste of my time to even purchase this product I would recommend not to get it.as well it’s not sticking within three days after using it the items that I am hoping that would stick to the ground moved around very quickly, The adhesive on it was very poor

I don't know if I just got an old roll or what but on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being most difficult, this tape gets a 14. Rolled it off and stuck it to my molding then spent 10 minutes getting the backing to release. Tried to hold molding on while pulling off backing, nope. 14 inches in backing broke. Managed to get the molding off but wasted 14 inches. Replaced tape, spent another 10 minutes getting the backing to release on each piece of tape. Decided to pull backing completely off first. Got about 24 inches into the pull and the force started to pull the tape off the molding, stretching the tape beyond use. Finally figured out that backing has to be pulled at 360 degree angle to itself, and you have to watch it because it will still try to pull off molding.Maybe gorilla next time.
