The book is way too expensive for what is in it. It has no substance and he not once goes into detail. This book was a con in and of itself so bravo to the writer but I'd be d*amn.I would not at all recommend the book. Maybe it you could find it for 1 cent in the used section but NO WAY is it worth more than 5.99 on a good spending day. It certainly lends to a few topics you will want to look into but I mean...don't pay any money for this book. Not worth it. I would return it but... I am not petty.

If you exercise critical reading throughout, you are probably going to be disappointed. Many assertions made with no references. No bio on the author.

Note for the author please add something of substance. Was it really worth it to write a book not worth a damn?

Absolutely horrible. The spelling, grammar, punctuation errors alone make it unreadable. The writing style is a constant stream of colloquialisms. It reads like a high school term paper. There is no real substance and no references. It's as if the author googled a bunch of psychology terms and strung together the first search results. I read the entire thing, hoping to find substance somewhere. Alas, there was none. I returned the book.

I read psychology as a hobby so this book was disappointing. Unless you're NEW to the game I don't recommend

After reading this book my eyes have been opened to how shady some people can be. The techniques explained will help me to avoid being manipulated in the future.

This is more like a cliff's note version of a longer but also worthless book on human psychology. Or like if Hannibal Lecter instead of having multiple advanced degrees and an IQ of 175+ actually failed out of community college and had an IQ of 90. I can't imagine that anyone is going to get anything useful from this book.

I didn’t realize how common these tricks were used in the world. Good read and explanations on what to watch out for.

Was able to read the whole thing in about an hour and a half at the speed of an average reader. Nothing really of depth, some decent starter information that could lead to further research. Could have been more.
