Installed this in a small downstairs loo which was nearly always left with the light on so the motion detector option was ideal. The installation wasn’t as straight forward as expected due to the base unit having no space underneath it for anything other than a single 1.5mm cable, if you have a whole load of cables and connector block in your old light like I did the base unit won’t fit flush to the ceiling. Had to punch a new hole in the ceiling under the light to recess the cables in and connector block due to lack of recess in the base unit. Then had to drop a single cable into the new light. The light has options for lux levels, time on and detection area selectable by dip switches. It is a super bright light and uses less energy than the old three spot light unit it replaced. I will still have to reserve final judgement on it as it appears that the light isn’t turning off completely but just goes dimmer at the end of its time on period. Still fiddling with the dip switches to see if this makes a difference. In the meantime it’s being switched by the original pull cord switch!

I bought this to replace the bathroom light so I wouldn’t need to fumble around with the pull cord in the dark. When I took off the old one there were so many cables that would need to fit inside the new one but there’s just not enough space

I bought the light to turn the bathroom light on & off automatically for our children.As described in other reviews the wiring space is very limited making installation fiddly, the low level option would be useful as a nightlight if it was not so bright, the sensor does not detect continued movement whilst on, it turns off again briefly even though there is still movement directly below.Overall it is a decent light.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Absolutely rubbish. Light won’t stay on. It just flickers. Doesn’t pick up motion even though it’s set to maximum.

The actual light it is emits is great, the sensor is rubbish only picks up motion in one part of the room

Not the best looking light but does the job.More for a kitchen or bathroom
