P & P Petco Small Bird Carrier. Portable, Traveling, Carrying, Transport, Carrier

Good for the price and for bringing my bird to the vet. Not especially well made if you intend to use for long travels and I suspect with the top on it could get pretty hot in there. Plus the plastic is not totally see thru so the parrot might feel like its'in a small, smoky hot room. But again-for quick trips or emergencies it does well for the price.

Purchased this to bring home a baby parakeet. The parakeet is still too young, but this should be perfect. It's bigger than I envisioned, but that makes it more versatile for bigger sized birds or more than one smaller birds. I could actually fit my six-pound Chihuahua in it. The perch fits nicely in the slots on the bottom. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to open the feeding door on top. (Just push in below the two holes and lift up.) I could see using this to take my parakeet on a trip.

Very flimsy. When the carrier arrived two of the snaps on the side were broken. Am having to use two large rubber bands to keep the cage together and the bird from getting out when we are going for grooming. Wish Petco would have made good on it. Not happy at all. The picture as shown is an accurate photo. You can see the clips I am referring to. There are two on each side.

I like this carrier in general. It's light and sturdy for the most part. I don't always like the latches all that well.

It's a bit difficult to get my bird out of the small opening at the top.

I bought this carrier for my two paraketts to use in evacuation or travel. It is bigger than it looks in picture, plenty of room. You can add another smaill perch if you like, It comes with only one. perfect to use to go to vet if neccesary.
