My Best Tasting Cheese Ever, Yet
I read the previous reviews and the only missing element from their reviews is the absence of a statement that says 'this is the best cheese I have ever tasted in all those decades of eating cheese from around the world.' I sliced the first sample in thin finger sized pieces and sat there amazed as the tastes burst in my mouth with a real Parmesan taste as I have never tasted before. It is not rock hard as some Parmesans can be especially if left out in the air too long. After a few bites I poured a thimble full of extra virgin olive oil (EVO) on a plate and drug the cheese strip through the oil. Hold on Andy. That is sense alerting at its best. I seriously thought about grating it for sprinkling over pasta sauces; however, that is not in todays plan nor any time soon. Tonight our meal will have as its appetizer a few black olives, blue cheese, EVO and this wonderful Grana Padano. That could be all there is since I have an appointment with the cardio guy in the morning. Yee Haw!!

Tasty cheese
This is a very tasty cheese which is hard to find locally. It took 3 days to go from New York to suburban Chicago. I bought it from seller Frank and Sal Italian Market. It was packed with a freezer pack inside a small styro container. The freezer pack was completely thawed when I got it, in fact kind of warm. The weather was not hot, mid 70s. So I don't think I'd order this in the summer, but in cool weather i definitely would.

Very nice! But I don't know what I'm talking about.
Lived in Dallas for ~20 yrs. and spent 3 months in the Amalfi area of Italy in my late teens -- So no time to become an expert. Fort Night in Italy @ NM gave me the chance to taste some of the loveliest olive oils and Parmigiana cheeses available. Absolutely luscious stuff. Have never tasted the equivalent[s]. During the time that I spent on the Amalfi coast, I had the most incredible food that I've ever been privileged to eat. However, it wasn't labeled as to source because the people consuming it knew how good it was [and I assume they 'knew' it was locally sourced].But this cheese pleases my taste buds! And I will reorder it.

Not as good as I had hoped (flavor-wise)
The cheese isn't horrible in flavor and/or texture, but it was not as good as I had hoped. Reminds me of a really, really cheap knock-off of a Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. The flavor of/in the cheese is missing something (I can't quite put my finger on it so-to-speak), but it's not nearly as good as some of the more expensive cheeses I've tried throughout my lifetime. I won't be buying this particular cheese again, that's for sure (very disappointed!).

Melts in your mouth
I first heard about Grana Padano on Master Chef. As a cheese lover, I was intrigued to hear of such a delectable cheese that I had not yet tasted. This is the first time I have ever ordered cheese online. This is a light, delicate, yet absolutely delicious cheese. Coupled with a nice glass of Moscato, I was in heaven! Highly recommend!

doesn't look anything like the photo
Well, the excitement is over. Now mind you, the cheese came fast and maybe getting warm in the shipping, it changed the texture and the taste? No big deal......I can get tastier imported cheese locally. First, the package.....doesn't look anything like the photo, it will get eaten, yes of coarse,,,,,short on taste, I'm disappointed. See all of that crumbly and hard look in the photo!!...not this cheese.......the cheese is rubbery like. Maybe I'll try again?........maybe after a few days in the fridge the flavor will kick in............will keep you posted.
