The original and best leather treatment on the market. I’ve been using Gliptone products for years and they never disappoint. Don’t be put off by the high price compared to similar inferior products. It’s the old adage, but cheap buy twice. I run a 22 year old VW and you can see from the picture Gliptone keeps my trim in superb condition. The fresh leather smell is fantastic. I can’t rate this product enough.

A great product I have used for some years - on leather furniture, car seats and steering wheels etc. It is absorbed into the leather - leave it for a 2-3 minutes - then wipe off any excess. It leaves no residue or stickiness - just a residual leather like smell. Recommended.

Nice smell

The conditioner is easy to use and seems to work well but the smell......! It doesn’t smell like new leather to me, more like a tannery.....not pleasant. Can’t believe people rave about the smell.......it truly stinks!

I am just addicted to this conditioner. It gives your leather goods such an amazing smell of new leather . Love it. I discovered it for myself when asked my husband for some leather conditioner to use on my vintage handbags. Not only finished his old bottle as I conditioned all my leather goods but ordered a new one for myself. I have to say , there are better conditioners on the market in terms of absorbing and moisturizing, but nothing makes the leather smell as nice as like this one. Definitely my favourite!

If you want your car's leather interior or your quality leather jacket to smell like it did when it was new, Gliptone is the only product to buy. I tried several others. Each had a sort of leather-like scent mixed with some sort of odd chemical scent... not what I wanted. If I could add a scent to this review that you could scratch-and-sniff you'd immediately see what I'm talking about. It smells like good new leather, period. This is the real deal. These comments also apply to Gliptone's leather cleaner and its hanging air fresheners (also available on Amazon). Application: very simple. A little goes a long way. Have a wet cloth and put about the same amount of conditioner as you would put toothpaste on your toothbrush. That should cover 1 or 2 seats of your car. Rub it in circular motions to cover all of the leather. You will not be disappointed. It will even effectively cover up the smell of cigarette smoke and other unwanted smells.

This genuinely restored the new car smell to my one year old CR-V with leather seats. I will not go as far as to say it smells like leather, but then neither did the Honda last year when it was brand new. Until they invent something that replicates the smell of fine leather, this may be the best leather conditioner out there for upholstery.
