Half a Sixpence (Piano/Vocal Selections): Musical Numbers That One After Another Hit the Jackpot

Was a big fan of the recent London production, and this has all the songs to bring back happy memories when theatre trips were the norm!

First off, if you haven't seen the musical, go!! ( it closes Sept 2nd). The music is great. This official score is great BUT (the reason I'm only giving it four stars ✨) is that * some* of the lyrics in the score are different to the one on the cast recording. I've noticed this on "Look Alive", "Long Ago" and "Back the Right Horse" (which confusingly in the score is called "The Joy of the Theatre"). I don't know if this appears in any of the other songs and it's only a minor thing but it's a bit annoying.

Provides brilliant, accurate scores for virtually every number in the show. Obviously only gives piano and vocal lines, but these prove more than sufficient for a good, full-sounding rendition of any of the songs.

Fab score includes all show Harmonies and parts. Worth every penny.

Hard songs to reproduce for teenage pupils, not all that catchy. Though of course some classics.
