The Farmer in the Dell (Classic Books with Holes 8x8 with CD) Paperback – June 1, 2013

The repetition is excellent for beginning readers and the hole in the page gets the reader to think about the next character!

A wonderful sing along book with bright beautiful illustrations. I'm a preschool teacher and my 2-3 year old kids absolutely loved this book in class. I ordered a copy to read during our virtual lessons as we quarantine at home. I gave 4 stars cause it's such a great book, but a little on the small side (8x8). I didn't notice that when ordering this copy, I was just ecstatic when I saw it was our classroom copy. Our book in class is a lot larger, this size is more fitting for a child in your lap, compared to 24 eyeballs following along not being able to see fully all the pictures and cut-outs in it entirety.

My toddler son loves these the Books with Holes, this book included. He really focuses on the holes and likes to figure out how the piece connects to the story, and this is helping him to learn new words, animals, and other things. The one thing I haven't enjoyed with "The Farmer in the Dell" specifically is that the illustrations and holes are quite as fun as other Books with Holes such as "Old MacDonald". In this book they're a little repetitive and dull (for an adult). It's a great tune, a fun book, and has proven to be a good learning tool for my son.

The cut outs are good for singalong.

It's a cute book, but not a classic. There's a nurse and not all the farm animals. I'm back on the hunt for a more classic version.

My two year old son is obsessed with singing the Farmer in the Dell. I bought this book to be a present from his new baby brother. My toddler loves this book and looks at it all the time. The illustrations are colorful and the cutouts are great.

I used the book instead of a card for a baby shower. I then made blankets and burp rags themed Farmer in the Dell!!!

Super cute kids book!

Great pictures, my boys love it, though I have to admit, we haven't listened to the CD (included) yet, they know the song from youtube and we just sing together and look at the pictures. I thought it was hardback, probably my mistake that I hadn't noticed it was paperback, but still, the quality of the book is great.

Delighted with attractive and sturdy board book with accompanying CD!

ちょうどクラスでこの歌をやっていたので、orangekyushuさんのレビューを読んで買って見たくなりました。たてよこ29センチの立派なサイズで、大満足です。ホールの意味は、買ってやっと分かりました。よくできてます。
