I love this book!!

I love the images in this book only con could have used a little more step by step pics and larger images but that may be because I'm a begginer in watercolor but I have still managed to create nice watercolor sea life with its instruction

The book gets five stars since it does a pretty good job with a subject not often addressed. It could be better though like with so many art books it could use more step by step instructions. And I don't really consider birds as a part of "sea" life. I think it would have been better to offer more examples of coral reef or other underwater scenes. Two of the artist's works are truly gorgeous and make the book as far as I'm concerned. By showcasing different artists you get to see different approaches too.

This book is awesome and I am an experienced artist and instructor. I have been hunting for this book and was so glad that Amazon added it to their inventory. I also purchased the same e-book for only $2.99. What a deal. The instructions are very detailed, the colors are very brilliant and I can teach from this book because Walter Foster allows artists to paint these pictures themselves without a copywrite issue. I also am a winter Florida resident so that is why I want sealife.

I liker the illustrations and the instructions. This is for the watercolorist with a moderate amount of experience.

Loved the paintings, I have painted with Hailey and watching her style and then seeing it printed was great! I can keep the book at home and review and see how to work the style into my skillset. Watercolor painting is intimidating and she makes it much more simple with breaking it down to basics.I am a fan, now and always.Next book she will also be a co-contributor will be on scenes from Texas State Parks. Can't wait...coming out in 2020-2021? LP

So far, I've only painted the seahorse. But instructions were good and easy to follow. I plan to paint more from this book!

Superb book with plenty of step by step projects. The artwork is bright and modern and absolutely gorgeous.

Excellent book on stages od painting sea life

Buen libro para aprender a pintar animales marinos y el fondo del mar en acuarela. Hay muy pocas monografías sobre este tema, por eso este libro es una rareza. Además de unas ilustraciones en buen tamaño, los tutoriales para cada acuarela son muy buenos.

This book is fantastic! Heaps of step by step colourful, detailed lovely watercolour sea life, I totally love it and can’t wait to start painting.This would be perfect for anyone really, a beginner or advanced painter, never to old or experienced to learn some new techniques.I chose the book by its cover would you believe, I just love painting seascapes or anything to do with the ocean so when I saw the beautiful whale I knew it was the book for me.
