Haori himo can be found on many vintage women's haori jackets but are sold separately so they can be mixed/matched among several haori jackets. They are created on a special loom with a macrame or braiding technique. Typically six to seven inches long. They might be flat or rounded, soft or stiff, and often have a tasseled end -- and sometimes something uniquely different. Great as embellishments for craft, art, or textile projects. Modern uses include bookmarks, zipper pulls, key chains, and more! We do our best not to include himo with blemishes or damage but slight signs of wear and light use are possible.
