I ordered by my size. I'm a 44 or large, and knowing it's not going to be worn over anything heavier than a long sleeve t shirt it is reasonably sized. I'm 5'10" and 180lbs. Large fits well.

I measured a loose fitting 43" on my chest, so based on the chart sizing, I ordered the xl, will this be the correct fit for mountain biking?

I'm a 42, ordered an XL and wish it were a Large. They run big. I estimate the XL would fit a 46-48 and it has elastic sides so will provide plenty of room.

Can I dye this to a different color or will the dye interfere with the evaporation process?

This a nylon type material so I don’t think it would take to dyeing.
