After exhausting all our natural options we decided that our boy Max just had way too many fleas and after extensive research I chose this. The other brands I looked at had some scary side effects and they also said that fleas were becoming immune to them. This product did the trick. A few things I want to stress though, this product was not instant! It took a few days to completely stop seeing fleas and for Max to stop itching. Also, READ THE DIRECTIONS and apply how it tells you to. We did 4 spots starting between his shoulder blades and ended at the base of his tail. This is VERY important and it ensures that the the fleas will die faster. I absolutely recommend this product, Max had ZERO side effects from this medication. It does take awhile to dry so make sure to not pet them in that area or let them play with other dogs until its dry. I will be using Activyl every flea season now. It really does end the flea life cycle too.

So I jumped the gun and was being a brat when I made my first review. The product I ordered is the right product and I am very happy with it . I spoke to the owner and he is a very nice man. He helped me to understand the answers to all of my questions. I want everyone to know that this is a great company that ships very fast. I got my package 2 days early . I will be ordering more product from them this coming week. Sorry if my first review throws anyone off it was me just being me a female .

The only flea treatment I've found to be consistently effective year after year. I've been using it on my dogs for maybe four years. They tolerate it well and it's easy to apply.I bathe the dogs, wait three days, apply the treatment, and wait a week before I bathe them again. I'm sure it works just as well without doing it that way, it's just how I've always done it. It is very important to make sure to apply it on the skin. Just putting it on the fur isn't effective. As long as I don't wait too long (more than six weeks or so) between treatments I never see fleas.

Works really well for a couple of weeks, then wears off and I have to spray or bathe a couple of times before next dose. Both of my dogs haven't had any negative reactions to the medicine.

This medication was first prescribed by our vet and they no longer carry the product so amazing that Amazon now carries it! I have a Pitbull and a chihuahua/border terrier mix. This medication comes in a liquid form that you apply directly to your dogs skin which is perfect because they don't have to ingest medication and have the fleas bite them in order to die off. My pitbull is allergic to flea bites; they develop into big, itchy, scabby sores that eventually dry and flake off, taking the fur with it! With one application on their back once a month, keeps them itch free all year long!

Not sure if something has changed with the Activyl formula, but it doesn’t seem to work as well as it once did. Only worked for about 2 weeks

First treatment did some good, but took the second dose to eradicate the flea population in this hot and humid area. My dog is at the lower end of the weights for the “Large” so she gets a good bit for her size. Noticed no side effects except the fleas are gone, even those trying to hide in her long and thick ear hair. It does take 24-48 hours to completely dry so no duck retrieving or bath right away. Best stuff I have ever used in decades of pet ownership.
