Has the usa standard for calibration changed to 4.01 from 4.0 at 25deg? my kit came with a bottle of 4.0 originally?

No, the USA standard has not been changed. The kit comes standard with PH4.00. For the calibration it makes no difference whether you use the supplied PH 4.00 solution or the PH 4.01 solution from this set.

how many uses do you get out of the bottles? (trying to compare it to powder sachets)

Dear customer, the solutions can be reused 10-15 times and do not need to be disposed after each calibration. We recommend filling the required amount of the solution into a calibration bottle or the CalBox (available separately) and closing it after use.
