Not LEGOS Best. Made For Minecraft Fans
The media could not be loaded. This video will not play on some devices. My son wanted this for Christmas and unfortunately we waited too long to get it. Everyone was sold out but Amazon. So as it I with market demand the price went up $25 and I said to my better half that our son will have to wait . But she wanted him to have it now, so we paid it. Is this set worth what we paid? Heck no! Is it worth the regular price? Barely. However my son loves it and as a father I believe that's the main point of being a kid and playing with toys. He'll outgrow them when soon and someone will get a garage sale deal at make their child happy.

Perfect for the minecraft addict!
My 6 yr old just absolutely adores this set and she is able to follow the instructions with ease with no help from us. Even though the box says 10 plus years this has been the best toy for her. She is a big minecraft fan and this has been the best gift she got this year! This toy keeps her engrossed for a long time. The box is very tiny but contains all the pieces for making the village. Its a very creative set and the possibilities with this set are endless. My kid has already started asking for the other sets in this series.

Great things come in small packages
Upon receiving this gift for our son, my wife an I were a bit put off because the box is quite small. I could not fathom how 400+ pieces could fit into such a small box and cost what we perceived as a lot for so little. To our surprise, upon opening the Christmas gift, our son was elated!!! He immediately sat down and put the entire thing together in 1 day. The best $65 we have ever spent. Now the only bad thing, the parts are very small. I would recommend that a white sheet be put down on the table or on the floor the child is working at. I would not suggest for any child below 8 yrs of age.

LEGO Minecraft The Village 21105
As with all LEGO products you really question how such a small pile of bits of plastics can cost so much, but at least from Amazon it was cheaper than anyplace else I looked. Most of what made it worth it was to see my sons faces at their birthdays and have them be thrilled at getting Minecraft LEGOs! One even asked, "How did you get these? They aren't in any of the stores.", and they had a great time showing them to Minecraft and LEGO loving friends who had never seen them before. So for cost of LEGO for what you get: not worth it, BUT for having your kids face light up for how much they liked receiving the gift: very worth it.

Great Chrismast present for my 7 year old!
I had not seen these in stores, and per others reviews I knew to expect a small sized box with 400+ pieces. And sure enough a very tiny box filled with very small pieces arrived. My son loves Legos and a huge Minecraft fan! So even though it was a challenge he was able to put it together along the other two Minecraft sets. It does come with a few spare pieces incase you loose any, being that their very small its not uncommon to have your vacuum take a few. Over all very pleased with the kits, and its Minecraft partnership is awesome! Hope to see more kits.

Great addition to the Lego Micecraft Micro Series
I am surprised by some of the negative reviews here - they all seem to complain it is too small and too expensive. First of all, this is a Lego MICRO set. Micros are a new type of Lego that is way smaller (in scale) than the regular Lego's. So you have Lego Duplo - Lego - Lego Micro in that size order. When I order a regular Lego set, I don't complain that I didn't get a box as big as the Lego Duplo blocks! Also, as a Micro set, they rate it for kids 10 years and older. Don't buy this for your 5 year old and then complain that its too tough for him/her!Secondly, this contains 460 pieces. That is more than the regular Lego boxes priced around $40 contain (280 pieces in example). I think its clear that the price goes mainly with the quantity of the pieces, not with the size of the pieces.I expected a tiny miniature kit that would recreate the Minecraft world and be a bit challenging to put together for my son and me. And I feel I got exactly what I had hoped for!

MICRO set....small pieces, but big fun.
Purchased for my son who like many his age (10yrs) is grossly into Minecraft. I did not realize this was a "micro" set so the pieces are literally the size of an eraser on a pencil. I fear soon any pieces dropped will be vacuum food, but he had enjoyed putting it together. I would highly suggest small hands and a lot of light to tackle this project though....it's "mirco" after all.

bunk batch? no piece count on box?
Normally I consider Lego top notch, but this set has a few issues. My oldest labeled it the worst legos he's seen by far..and he's put together endless sets, including the other 3 micro worlds. We decided to keep it even though some of the grey bricks were very loose. Others were much harder to snap together than normal also. Very weird. At first we thought perhaps it was counterfeit even. The box is slightly different than the one shown in the photo here and does NOT show the piece count. I was also suspicious of the tape, not the normal black spot on the tape on the box. I was super close to ordering one off ebay and returning this, but we got it put together and it joins the other 3 micro worlds on a shelf. They don't get a lot of play and are mainly for occasional display. Once put together it was staying together ok, however they do come apart easily. The roofs are each held on by 2 studs only, one bump and off they go. I spent awhile checking about if it was fake and came to the conclusion it must just be a bunk batch of grey (how?), or these sets were being pumped out and quality went out the window? Lego just seems so standard I find it hard to believe. All the other micro sets we have say the piece count and they are all high quality lego.
