Good for a 4yo. Too little for a 5yo.
easy to put together and seems sturdy enough. Too little for my 5 year old. Might be ok for some 5 year olds but not if he/she is long legged.

Smaller children only
Small size for 7-yr olds. In fact, this is small for my 5-yr old son, who is tall for his age. I don't see how a 7-yr old would even be able to pedal this. Instructions are awful, but not impossible. Seems to be sturdy plastic and well built. Will know more after today (Day 1).

Undersized for average children
Representing as for ages 3-7 is ridiculous. I purchased for my grandson, an average height 4 year old, and his knees were up to his ears when he tried to pedal. Instructions for assembly were incomprehensible.

Wouldn't buy again.
Fun for a few months, then the steering wheel stopped working. Poorly designed turning mechanism and no way to fix it. The square washers just wore into the surrounding plastic until they could not allow the wheel to turn the tires. Also, it was a little small for my just-turned-6 year old who is of average size.
