I've had a few blower/Vac over the years and I am impressed so far with this one. Wheels are great. Previously had to use a shoulder straps and was causing shoulder/back fatigue. Only drawback is it is a little slower rolling it rather than swinging it BUT much easier on the body. The adjustable speed is fantastic so as not to pick up more than intended leaves. Also trigger is wonderful as you can use as needed instead of being on constantly. The leaves are shredded very well and compact making great mulch. The vacuum is so strong on high it will suck leaves from between deck boards. I've only had it a short time so we'll see if it holds up better than the others.Still a buy even if it doesn't because of the extra features and performance.

WE used this TWO HOURS. So, that comes to about 30 bucks an hours worth. First, there was a 2 inch hole near the intake orifice, which we "repaired" with paper binder clip. Then, the flimsy string which holds the bag to the plastic piece that attaches to the body of the machine came loose and dumped the contents everywhere. We fixed that with a Zip tie and re-attached the bag. Finally, while we had read the zipper was precarious, we were VERY CAREFUL when opening and emptying the bag. Then, the bag just BLEW open on its own while in use and dumped the contents. Absolute piece of JUNK. Don't buy. The ergonomics are poor as well and you will have a back ache before you are done - the intake tub needs to be much longer.

Use this pretty strictly for the vacuum part. It mulches very well. Is not as powerful as a gas but that’s expected. The opening is not big enough to blow through leaves but it does alright. Looks like your vacuuming the rug in the yard with a 8” wide spout. Pretty funny but gets the job done. I blow them into a pile then sit there and suck em up. Filled a 55 gal bag in about 30 mins. So it works pretty good! Works well to flip the switch to blow without having to unhook the tube as well so that’s a big bonus.

I was hopeful this would last for at least a couple seasons. The unit itself worked great, sucked up leaves perfectly. The issue was the bag. I was able to get two loads of leaves before the zipper busted. If there was one thing to spend a little more on it would be an outdoor zipper. Extremely flimsy. Tried to get a replacement bag, but that wasn’t feasible. Returned.

I can’t even return because I will probably not receive a refund since I used it once to try it out. The suction power is only good for 5 minutes…there’s more negative but not worth more of my time…

I was in fear of this item being a little to complicated to operate but it was sooo, easy. My front lawn ONLY consist of tones of gravel BUT one Stupid Tree that sheds tons of blossoms and giving me a ROYAL headache to clean up each spring with just a regular leaf blower At a low setting with the leaf blower, I am chasing more rock and gravel than I want to deal with and not REALLY cleaning up my Yellow blossom problem.The settings are perfect along with a small rake ahead of the vacuum making sure I ONLY get Blossoms and NOT Gravel. Love the way all the blossoms are shredded into mulch and easy to dump from the leaf bag. PERFECT tool for the job.

I bought this to use after installing new synthetic turf on my deck. This morning I used it for the first time. Here are my complaints: 1) if you're vacuuming anything with dirt or dust, the dirt or dust comes out through fabric of the collection bag all over you and anything else. The bag has a zipper to empty it, but a lot of what you vacuum comes through the porous material. See photo one of me covered in dirt. 2) The shaft/tube is way too short for someone around six feet tall like me. I had to bend over at the waist continuously (see photo 2) which after 45 minutes of vacuuming made my sore back even sorer. The shaft needs to either be adjustable for different folks or at least longer allowing you to adjust the range with your arm. 3) You must continuously pull the on trigger, there is no lock/engage for trigger to keep it on. Many times in the normal motion of vacuuming, my finger would get pulled off the trigger. 4) The mouth of the vacuum is way too narrow (less than 6 inches). It took 45 minutes to vacuum a 16' by 24' deck. 5) the mouth of the vacuum often digs in to the turf and is annoying with the sudden stops. 6) the electrical plug continuously separates from the extension cord. There is no built in way to secure the two cords together. The only positive is the vacuum is plenty strong.

Bag broke off after using it 3rd time. My faith in Sun Joe is gone. I'm never buying another Sun Joe product. Suction is crappy. All around a crappy product. Now it's unuseable sitting in my garage.

The shoulder belt could be a bit bigger so it can go over head and still reach the ground for suction. If the belt is put over the shoulder only, it keeps falling off. Also the bag needs to be attached to the shoulder belt, so it doesn’t drag on the ground. Otherwise this machine works great.

Looks good and does the jobs advertised.

Not very good when vacuuming from a pile, the tube gets clogged too often, then the discharge gets clogged.
