Nice subs
I'm enjoying these subs, I have them hooked up to a Boston Acoustics M800 mono amp with around 400 watts per sub. These sound great and are perfect for my type of music. However I think these subs could get much louder if they were given more power... I'm not sure but I think 500 or 600 clean watts would make them perfect. I have a two year old so I'm content for the moment. One feature I love is the Ohm switch. You can switch these from dual 2 ohm voice coils to dual 4 ohm within seconds. This is nice I case you change your configuration. This gives you maximum flexibility at a reasonable cost. These do require a slightly larger enclosure but for $100 they are hard to beat. I also like the vintage orange surround. I prefer 10's but I think these 12s are Money!

Gooy delivery But great sound!!
Speakers sounds great but when I received the packages the speakers both had oily goo on the speaker that was pretty difficult to get off but it eventually it came off and they do sound excellent. So little disappointed about the goo but they sound great so overall good purchase.

Best in class
I found these DVC2's after loving my 4 ohms ones and they don't disappoint. Selector switch actually gets them down to 1 ohm ( the other sizes do not, or so says the multimeter.

works well with my Pioneer 900w (450w RMS CEA @ 4Ohms) It's takes 450w RMS like a walk in the park in a 1.25 Ft3 Box (Recommended sealed box size). Sounds Great, very deep bass. Many companies over rate their amplifiers so to find the "probable" wattage take your fuse x volts x 0.6 for Class AB or 0.8 for class D amps. Ex. 20 amp x 13.8 volt x 0.6 = 165.6w Some brands such as Lanzar even have "Extra" non functional fuses to make them seem more powerful. A good rule of thumb is 150w RMS for every 20 Amps. So your amp that is 3000 watts but has a 30 amp fuse is really 345 watts RMS max at 14.4 Volts and assuming it's a very efficient 80% Class D amplifier.

Very impressed by this little sub. I'm pushing a single v122 in a ported 1.5 cubic foot box with a 2000 watt rms amp @ 2ohms.Update: Still going strong after a couple weeks of maxing my amp on this sub. Incredibly underrated.

I brought 2 of these, one works great but the other one literally blew as soon as I hooked them up. The cone detached and just rattles like crazy! I wish I would have hooked them up before my return "window" closed!
