The Fun of Flying is a great read!
It should be called the "fun of reading this book". The author relives past real life experiences in his extensive travels during the 1960's and 70's. He shares stories of surviving the Vietman war, his travels around the world, a cut-throat aviation industry and even surviving a plan crash into a hostile country! As if the crash wasn't scary enough, armed militants pointed automatic weapons at the survivors assuming it was a terrorist act! Did I mention the near crash into an active volcano? This book will entertain and amuse and provide an insider's view of life in that era.
