Bass Guitar Wall Chart Paperback – November 21, 1990

Very hard to read, given the orange and green backgrounds for the note and chord charts. An explanatory window as to how to use the chart would have been helpful. Perhaps this is intended for and/or would make more sense to a highly experienced bass player. I am brand new to the instrument, although I have played acoustic guitar and other stringed instruments for decades. The chord diagrams are confusing, and perhaps are meant more to indicate melody notes which may be played within the stated chord instead of the more typical finger diagram for playing the chord itself? It would have been nice had they just explained things. I contacted the Mel Bay company, who suggested I ought to buy some other stuff to explain how to use this. I declined.

Great chart. Easy to read. Great when I'm practicing. Opens my eyes to other possibilities when learning new combinations.

I got this for my brother for Christmas - he really loved it. It's very useful and it's big enough so he can see everything on it.

It arrived on time and perfectly packed. It's easy to read and a great tool to learn the chords in the bass guitar and what these are when on a manuscript paper! I totally recommend it!
