Rating 4 stars - Loved ItKing Cobra is my second novel I have read by Jayne Rylon as Kate's Crew (Powertools #1) being my 1st. Instantly became a fan. I wanted to read the Powertools series first since Eli and Alanso have a cameo in Hammer It Home (Powertools #6). Fell in love with Jayne Rylon writing style and characters that I could not wait any longer to dive into King Cobra. The sexy cover alone for King Cobra is enough to get me excited and picturing the hero on the cover as Eli was even better.King Cobra packed a lot of different emotions. I felt when they were happy, aggravated, mad and sad. I was frustrated right there with Alanso while Eli was fighting his feelings for him. I loved how they were best friends turn to lovers. I enjoyed the journey of them trying to figure out their sexuality together. I do not know who I am crushing on more Eli with his sexy Tattoos or Alanso with his yummy Tattoos, wicked nipple piercing. King Cobra is steamy and the shower scene was sexy and sweet. The after shower scene had my girly bits tingly. Loved how the sex did not over power the plot.King Cobra is a spin off of the Powertools series. You do not have to read The Powertools to know what is going on. Jayne Rylon did an outstanding job of letting the readers know what happened with Eli and Alanso cameo in Powertools series. I loved the cameo with The Crew from Powertools. It is done over skype and phone but great talks with Eli, Alanso and the Crew from Powertools. I look forward to reading more in the Powertools series.Yay baby! King Cobra is my kind of read, sexy tattoo heroes with Motorcycles and Hot Rods. Mustang Sally is up next June 4th. Eli wants Alfonso but he isn't willing to risk their friendship. In fact he wants all the whole crew but he doesn't think it could ever happen. He was stubborn and a bit mean at first, because he wouldn't think about Al's feelings at all. He thinks he knows best and it takes numerous people to telling him to pull his head out of his butt before he does. Then he has to grovel and show Alfonso he really meant it and doesn't just want to fool around.Alfonso is sick and tired of wanting Eli and not being able to have him. They undress each other will their eyes quite frequently but he wants more. After a huge blow up with Eli, he takes a drastic step and goes to a hook up spot. I felt so bad that Eli pushed him into that because it could have ended badly. He was a very patient and loving man. Though he does make bad decisions while drunk.This story is freaking AMAZING! Jayne Rylon is a genius. I think this will be my new favorite series by her and I'm excited to see how the crew will work together. Sally is going to be one well loved woman in later books. The plot has more depth than I expected plus the sex scenes were explosive. I can't imagine how hot it will be with all seven of the crew. It may burn up plenty of Kindles. If you are in the mood for a hot read then I highly recommend Jayne Rylon and King Cobra.

Eli (Cobra) glimpsed his cousin's unconventional lifestyle and has tortured himself ever since with forbidden desires for his own makeshift family, particularly his right-hand man, Alanso. Alanso gets tired of waiting for Eli to make his move and takes matters into his own hands. I have been anxiously awaiting this story ever since I read the last book in the Powertools series and was introduced to these characters, and it did not disappoint! Eli had a fair bit of resistance at first and it was making things difficult for everyone, but once he let that go, the chemistry between the two men was awesome. And though it was kind of frustrating to be left hanging, I look forward to reading the rest of Eli and Alanso's story in the next book in this series, Mustang Sally, due out in June 2013.

So after reading Powertools, I had to check out the Hot Rods (Not a necessity, but it makes this series much better.) King Cobra loved his adopted brothers and Sally so much that he is afraid to lose them by acting on his too strong of desires he is feeling. The problem, he may lose it all.Eli can't seem to figure out his best plan of action. Alanso has had enough and may just want to figure out things himself. Oh boy! This book got me hooked. I fell in love with the characters and had to read the rest of the series.

I loved this book. I like story lines that are about characters who have been friends forever and already have an estblished bond, they just realize they want more. Al and Eli are so damn hot together, I personally love m/m stories that have two strong, and sexy males just going at it like they cant get enough of each other. I bough Mustang Sally as soon as I got done reading this one. I can't wait to see what happens next with those 3!Also liked how the powertools books characters played a role as well, since Joe (from PT) is Eli's cousin. Def have to read all of those books next, have only read the first one "Kate's Crew". Can read this book though without reading any of the PT ones.All and all an amazing HOT and STEAMY book that will have you wanting more and more!

what can i tell you, that one word headline should tell you everything, if you are into erotic romance BUY THIS BOOK SERIES . you will not regret it

Off the charts sexy, hot read. Never does Jayne Rylon disappoint, but this series is gonna top it all. Powertools was my intro to this and I thought nothing could top the menage love in that series, but dayum!! This is Blue Flame Hot Sinfully good.

WOW!!! Loved every single moment of this! What an excellent way to branch into the new series. New characters but with contacts to the old. Just as hot as the crew but with added spice! Al & Eli are amazing characters. The strength, love and trust that all of the Hot Rods have for each other promises to only get better! My one regret....having to wait for the next installment! Can't wait to read Mustang Sally! This is one of the best next steps in a series that I've read. Anyone that loved the Power Tools series will NOT be disappointed by the Hot Rods! Rylon has done it again! I loved the Powertools series and I would say, if possible, Rylon has developed the Hot Rods crew even better, set backstories, character development and realism in tis book.I have a friend who went through utter denial of his 'confused' sexuality and his struggles were so close to Rylon's fiction.I would compare her to J R Ward.Thank you and please keep them coming!

A great steamy read if you are looking for a bit of poly/menage. There is just the right amount of plot to keep you interested and wanting to find out how things end, but plenty of fun and sexiness along the way. Surprising deep and interesting characters for what could essentially be porn, a very fun way to waste a few hours.

Personally I loved this book it is a run on from the Sharing Builders series - again a gread series.This one is different from that series and was not sure if Jayne Rylon would be able to keep it going and keep fresh but she did.Can't wait for the following ones to come out.

These books keep getting better and better, I have read a lot from this author and really hope the books keep coming.

Having come from reading the crew series I was excited. I wanted to read their relationships from scratch and find out more about the mysterious Hot-Rods.Although the relationship between Eli and Alanso had me hooked, since the crew book. I found I wanted to know more about the other hot rods, I was slightly disappointed in this wish which is why the 4 stars.Eli and Alanso are hot as hell though and jumped straight into my heart as a couple I want to see more of. Book two is already ordered and I cannot wait to get more ........ vrooom
