This product can be used to treat water snakes, however we do not recommend use around locations that get excessively wet.

how much area does it cover?

If your home is 3000 sq ft or more, then you may require 2.5 - 3 bags! I liked that they were less messy than the actual sulfur; however, I don't think that the value matches the cost; therefore, I plan to purchase two (2) - 25lb bag or larger from my local Home Depot, Lowe's, and/or Ace Hardware store and purchase a dispense shaker or use a garden tiller/cart to not only cover the near perimeter of my home and that way there will be enough product to place all over my front & back lawns.

This product will effectively disorient the snake, and cause it to search for clearer air. If you place this product around an area where the snake is already present, it may trap the snake, as it will not want to cross this product. We recommend applying this product as a preventative perimeter treatment.
