Low Loveseat

I’m not familiar with this brand but decided to give it a try since it had so many positive reviews. These days, buying anything online can feel like a gamble, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received this loveseat. Not only does it look great (I chose the canyon brown/beluga color), but it’s also made with high-quality materials. The 600D polyester feels both soft and durable, and the steel frame is rock solid—never wobbly or flimsy, even after sitting in it for extended periods. The size is perfect for two people—I'm 5'8" and my wife is 5'6"—and it’s very comfortable. Given the quality of the materials, I can see this loveseat lasting a long time with daily use and even longer if used occasionally. The only drawback is the weight—it’s on the heavier side. I wouldn’t recommend carrying it for long distances or trekking through the Alps, but for car camping, it’s fantastic. Overall, a great product, and the best part? My wife loves it too!

There are a couple of other similar "loveseat" style camping chairs, including a Coleman version at outlet stores which you can usually find for something like $30. Despite that, I feel that this one is way worth the price, particularly on sale. -I'm 5'11" and I can rest my head against the backrest, which some of the loveseat options don't allow you to do -The geometry of the seat means that you're slightly slouched rather than being forced to sit upright, which is greatly appreciated for campfire use and after long hiking days. You're also not tending to slide into each other- which was a problem we had when we sat in the Coleman -The cupholders (which I believe are new for 2019) are actually double slotted. You can either fit in a huge mug, or pop open a divider and have two separate drinks. I actually just use one slot for my Thermacell Radius and the other for my Hydroflask. -The loveseat is far sturdier than some of the other options I've used (Coleman and Timber Ridge). The frame doesn't really bend or give way when you sit (I'm 165 lbs and my wife is 115), and the fabric is nice and thick for a cushioned feel -The carrying case/wrap is actually pretty genius. You fold the chair up, put the legs into the case's "pouch" on one end, and wrap the rest around the chair. Then you snap it together using the pretty nice buckles. The case/wrap is actually surprisingly nice, the side against the chair is pretty soft and the outside is heavy duty nylon, overall it actually feels similar to the chair's fabric. I actually end up using the case/wrap unrolled to cover up coolers and stuff in my car from the sun when the chair is being used. Finally, there are two versions of this seat- the low version and the regular version. I tried the regular version and my wife's feet sort of dangle when she's trying to slouch (5'3") and it wasn't as comfortable to me as the low version, where you actually get to stretch your legs out, slouch, have more freedom to change your position, get closer to the fire while simultaneously avoiding more of the smoke as you sit lower.

I had high expectations for this chair (loveseat) because Kelly is a great company. My expectations were exceeded. This is a very sturdy and well built, but the most important factor is comfort. I’m 5.8 225 and my wife is 5.3 135 and we both love it. It is very comfortable, with a low and slightly laid back angle. I always hated traditional folding fabric chairs because you can never get that comfortable relaxed position. With this chair you can! I don’t know how it would be for someone 6.2 but for us it is perfect. It comes with a wrap rather than a bag which I wasn’t sure about. However the wrap is great. Easy to put on and take off and the shoulder strap is Kelly quality. It’s also relatively light. I think the description says 14lbs, but it packs up nice and it well balanced. I actually think the footprint when packed is less than two regular fold up fabric chairs. Kelly hit a home run with this and it’s not surprising. They have very high quality stuff and great customer service. I highly recommend this chair.

Now technically this just arrived today but I immediately set it up in the living room to test it out. I wasn’t sure if I’d wish I bought the regular height or not but I love the height of the low chair. It’s also super easy for my dog to get on it and snuggle. The loveseat is very comfortable, easy to sit back in and relax. I imagine it could be hard for some people to get up from but I didn’t have any issues. A bit pricey but it seems sturdy and hopefully it’ll last a long time justifying the cost. The best (easiest!) part was putting it away. I’ve had probably 101 camping chairs over the years and the fact that they made a carrier that just wraps around it, with a pocket for the feet and three straps to click together was bloody genius!! It took no effort at all to close it up and stow it. AND the wrap flattens out to a dog pad/bed! It even has a cute dog paw print on it. I’ll take a picture when I take it out next and will update the review once I’ve gotten some good use out of it. Well done, Kelty!

I’m normally cheap and wouldn’t spend this much on a camping loveseat but my brother bought one and after using it and trying several less expensive options, all of which I returned, I bought one for myself. Yes, you can find camping loveseats for less than half the price, but as the saying goes “you get what you pay for.” The Kelty Low Loveseat far surpasses any that I’ve sat in when it comes to comfort, durability, and style. I would definitely recommend it to others! I get compliments on it every time I use it.

Very comfy and enough room to sit without touching each other, in case it’s hot. The cup holders are too few in my opinion, a 12oz can is almost hard to get a hold on. It’s got that kelty quality. Very sturdy. Not too hard to pack up either, although I would rather have a sleeve versus the wraparound carrier.

It’s very high-quality and I love how it wraps up and its own blanket thing however, I did not find it comfortable at all. It’s very upright and you can feel the Front edge of the chair too much so to make it comfortable. Don’t know why it has such high reviews on comfort I have long legs and no butt so maybe that’s why I find it uncomfortable?

I love it, its exactly as it looks in the picture and super sturdy. I sat in it with my partner and we were both so comfortable. I also sat reading in it alone and almost fell asleep, this is unheard of for me. It is a little heavy but far less awkward than carrying two separate chairs around as it comes with a little carrier bag too. the price is a bit on the high side so hope its stands the test of time. If you like good quality things then I would highly recommend it.
