Plantation Blackstrap Molasses, 31 oz (Pack of 1)

Product was packaged well with good “best by date”. Have used almost half of the first jar and find it to be an excellent molasses. I enjoy the taste, and it is not bitter or too sweet. Just what I was looking for. I will continue to purchase this product.

Like most natural foods, Blackstrap Unsulphured Molasses is loaded with healthy nutrients (e.g., iron, calcium, potassium, B6 and many other vitamins and trace minerals). And, there are many anecdotal claims attesting to this product's "miracle" healing and repairing characteristics --- everything from a daily energy booster to a cure for cancer. I have not done a lot of research on these claims, but I can attest to my own personal experience with using Plantation Blackstrap Unsulphured Molasses for over three years.I can definitely feel an energy boost, when I use it consistently. But, what is amazing to me is this product's ability to restore hair color! About three years ago, I started developing small patches of gray hair. My hair is naturally dark (almost black), so, needless to say, the gray really stood out. After several months of consistently using, at least, a tablespoon a day, I noticed the gray patches dissipating. And, to this day, I have not experienced anymore gray patches. In fact, all of my hair is noticeably darker and with only a few scattered, stray gray hairs --- still working on those! Another side benefit is that my hair has become thicker and stronger than before I started using the molasses as a daily supplement. So, bottom line: this stuff truly lives up to the claims of increased energy and hair color restoration --- at least for me.This particular version of blackstrap molasses does not claim to be organic (on the label). It is, however, unsulphured and pure in the sense that the only ingredient is "unsulphured blackstrap molasses" --- no additives or preservatives. It comes in a thick glass bottle and has the best value (per ounce) compared to anywhere else I could find on the internet (my total cost was $100.98). And, purchasing in 31 ounce bottles is much more economical than buying in 15 ounce bottles.Although I do not care for the taste --- I have to make a hot drink out of it with honey, cinnamon, cocoa and sometimes coffee or tea, this superfood truly has visible benefits, over the long run. If you can handle the taste, this product is worth using and finding out which of its benefits work best for you.

This product is hard to find, a Dr suggested I take this for health reasons.

This is the most nutritious molasses brand.I really wanted a gallon instead of messing with these little bottles but I didn't see one.Verv securely packaged !!!!!!!

Arrived in perfect condition, no breaks no mess no spills. Came wrapped in heavy duty bubble wrap bag, in a sturdy cardboard shipping box, cushioned with paper filler. I purchased this for the iron and nutrition benefits. 20% daily recommended value for iron in 1 tblsp serving in this size jar, just as advertised. Cant wait to see how it helps my daughter whose iron runs low. And the taste is not too bitter at all. Good value!

The jar was broken inside the bag & it leaked molasses all over other boxes in the delivery persons truck including one of my pkgs. The driver was going to take it back for another shipment as there was molasses all over the inside of his delivery truck

I bought this 31 oz bottle because I have bought multiple of the 15 oz bottles and figured more would be better and it would save the hassle of buying smaller bottles.I suffer from iron deficiency anemia and the 15 oz Blackstrap molasses helped me raise my ferritin (iron stored in bones) which is typically very hard to naturally raise.I SWORE by this stuff but I feel deceived and disappointed!The formula for their regular blackstrap molasses said it was a significant source of iron and claimed 20% of the Daily Value. This larger bottle is not the same nutritional content as the smaller ones, and the iron is only 6%, no longer considered significant.I am so disappointed over this. I feel if Plantation wants to formulate their big bottles to have a different nutritional value, or a lower nutritional value, than their smaller bottles, then they really should not pass them off as the same product with the same label. etc.Unless you specifically read the nutritional label, you'd never know the difference. Again, deceptive.Plantation either needs to make it apparent by changing their label that it ISN'T the same formulated product as the small bottle, or they need to correct the formula and make it match.This inconsistency is unacceptable.
