Ok, I can't comment on longevity because they were only delivered 2 hours ago... but they're already installed and looking sharp!What a great deal! Side bars from the manufacturer were $700 AND you couldn't even order them unless you bought another $1300-$2000 package!These install VERY easily. The mountain bolts are already in place on the truck - your just need to bolt down the brackets then bolt down the bars to the brackets. All you need is a socket wrench and a 13mm socket (or whatever the imperial equivalent is). A deep socket is probably required. The paint on my bolts was very thin and consistent, so after I tried wire-brushing it off the first few, I just decided to go for it - and I had no trouble getting the nuts on over the paint... but if yours look thick or globby, I'd definitely strip it first. I do advise that you not fully tighten the brackets to the truck at first. Once you've got all the bolt lined-up and inserted between the bar and the bracket, then go back and put the last twists on the mounting bolts - gives you a little leeway to adjust if the holes don't match up perfectly by default.My biggest surprise is how light they are. I doubt each bar weighs more than 10 pounds. I'm actually a little concerned that they could be easily dented, and I wouldn't even want anyone to stomp on them, but if you don't abuse them, I think they'll be fine - and I'm glad to not have to add too much more weight. The brackets are great. Fit perfectly, heavy-gauge. When you consider that if you had to buy a similar quality bracket at a lumber store, you'd easily pay over a hundred bucks just for the hardware. Getting this whole kit for under two-hundred is a deal.A BIG styling and functionality improvement! Put mine on with only 102 miles on the odo!I'd be tempted to say 4-stars just because the bars aren't as thick as I expected, but for how good they look, at how easy they were to install, and at this bargain price, I just have to give this a 5-star review!Hope it helps!

The step bars were easy to install. The toughest thing was wire brushing the mounting bolts on the truck. I had a wire wheel that I put in an drill and that worked good. Once the bolts were clear of paint etc the install went very good. The steps look great adding some shine to my truck and they are very sturdy to use getting in and out of the truck.

Very pleased with this product. Best quality in this price range. Stainless with chrome overlay resists rust. Machine rounded ends increase stability and look great. Would pay extra if support brackets were also stainless - recommend that upgrade.

I shopped locally and online for weeks before buying theses steps for $200 for my 2022 Ram 1500. Although they were extremely well-packed, they arrived with a tiny dent on the top of one of the bars between the plastic foot rests (which is why 4 stars and not 5 stars). Bummer but not the end of the world. The dent happened at the seller's end, not during shipping. Everything else was super easy. The only hard part had nothing to do with the steps--Dodge installs threaded mounting studs at the factory (which is awesome) but doesn't cover the threads when painting the truck (which is NOT awesome). As others have mentioned, you have to remove the paint from the threads in order to install the brackets. I used a tap and die set rather than a chemical. Once the threads were cleaned out, however, it was a piece of cake. Easily a 1 person job. The bars look good (after a couple months I'll stop seeing the dinky dent). They barely flex at all when I put my 216 lbs on them. I only put them on yesterday but will edit this review if they don't hold up.

I was sooooo impressed how easy it was to install these on my 2019 RAM Crew Cab Big horn. took me total of 40 minutes from start to finish. Super sturdy and my family and friends are impressed on how good they look. The steps are slip resistant as well. Fool proof design. The mounting brackets only go on one way on either side of the truck. The screws are in two seperate bags. I didn't really need the instructions that came with them. Again Great for the price!!!

So simple to put on the truck. Love the look and they take my weight easily.

Although the description does not include the 2024 RAM and there were no body changes to the 2024 figured it would probably fit just fine. I had a few problems with the locknuts provided not tracking on the studs properly. But found a hardened steel 8M standard thread nut to chase the threads first and the provided locknuts worked ok then. Overall fit & finish as expected. Durability will play itself out over time.
