I got this cage for a red-lored amazon. The cage is very well made & was easy to assemble (but having electric screwdriver helps). Suitable for a bird with a strong beak. I like the fact that I can change food and water without opening the cage door and can easily clean the cage.There are two downsides however - first - the bar spacing is quite large, while the cage itself isn't. That pretty much eliminates it's use for smaller parrots, like cockatiels and makes it small cage suitable for Amazons, African Greys and the like. It's not a problem for me, as my birds are allowed out for most of the time, but still worth noting. Secondly, the front and back wall has vertical bars, which makes it more difficult for parrots to climb - cages with horizontal bars on all walls are definitely better for parrots, who love to climb!Hence, only 3 stars.

Overall I do like this cage. It is really solid when assembled and people tell me it looks good. However it is a bit of a neat fit for a gray parrot. It has similar dimensions to much more expensive cages though so for what it is ide rather save the difference. But really I would like to have more suitable cages on the market. One word of warning though. It is definitely not suitable for cockatiels or budgies as it clames to be. This is because of the bar spacing. Also not macaws ither as it would be to small. For now the two I have got will do as a temporary setup for the two grays.
