Doesn't keep in on too long
I bought it thinking that I'll be able to use my Sprint Drive at home normally. Turns out it doesn't keep it on for too long. Sometimes for about 10 minutes but sometimes longerAlthough it does stay on longer sometimes, its not reliableSince I don't use it much and only secondary, I missed the return window and I'm pretty disappointed

Works great as independent Hot Spot
This adapter allows our Sprint Drive to be used as an independent Hot Spot in our RV. It works very well but have noticed we have to unplug it from the Sprint Drive, wait about 30 seconds and plug it back in to reset it. I’ve noticed I never have to do that when it’s plugged into the vehicle but every now and then while plugged into a wall outlet it disconnects. It works really well when plugged into the vehicle!

Hurricane Laura job saver!!
We had just been through Hurricane Laura and we did not have internet service. Not going to get service for about 6 weeks and we were desperate. Went to our phones service provider and bought a drive but they didn’t have this particular gadget that we needed to receive internet. We bought this plugged it into our phones drive and it worked perfectly. Thank you for the quick shipping. This was a job saver!!

Easy to return, great product concept
Returned item with no difficulty, never got the chance to use it as I returned the Sprint Drive as we are not travelling as much yet. If you get a sprint drive and want to use it beyond when driving, this sounds like it would be well worth it and a great additional purchase as it would allow you to use the item when stationary and not just in the car.

Works, but not perfect.
If you have Sprint Drive you should probably have this anyway, especially if your home wifi is wonky like ours. But don’t expect much— it’s not very fast and it goes out occasionally and we have to unplug it and plug it back in.

AC adapter failed
Purchased the USB version, first. It worked fine, but, frequently relocating the unit from my car to my home, caused it to fail. Purchased the AC version and the included AC adapter (1 amp) failed after a relatively short period. I have an alt AC adapter (2amp) which works fine, and, my Sprint Drive is fine, but, for the price of this cable, quality is questionable. Of course, the Sprint Drive is intended for an automobile, which is assumed to be moving, so, it will disconnect from the internet after a period of sensing no motion.

Don't purchase it
This is my second purchase of this. It isn't working anymore. Worked great in the beginning but the last few days, it just doesn't work now. It's not my sprint drive, I've pushed the little button to reset it, I've put it back in my car, works in my car no problem but this adapter does nothing. I've contacted the seller, no response. Waste of time and money

buyer beware
lead to believe my sprint representatives that when used in the house unlimited internet would be continuous with the sprint drive obd module. However it is not true. It works for 1 hour then shuts down and you are required to reset it by unplugging it and plugging it back in. This is due to some kind of issue with sprints GPS software that does not work continuously with the ac adapter. An important little left out fact from Peralta as well as sprint salespeople when they want to push another gadget and data line of service on you
