Great cmpressor, but one thing you don't get is a switch to turn it on and off.they specifically say in the owners manual not to start and stop by simply unplugging. unless you plan to use a circuit breaker or switch at the power source, you'll need the Rolair switch, part # ON/OFFSW KIT that mounts to the compressor.Also, they say not to power it with a generator due to the load the 5 HP motor puts on the circuit at start. My 17,500 watt generator handles it fine.

this compressor is fantastic - also for such a beast (300 lbs) is is quite balanced and easy to move - one thing we would have preferred is a motor that reduces it's speed when up to presssure - this just runs at full speed constantly and blows off excess air - it seems this is an option but there is no way to know this when you order - even thiough its running at full speed its fairly quiet.

very good air compressor I like the fact that they have solid tires now.
