Thin, warm, but could be a little more durable
I used these under heavy mittens/gloves while shooting the Aurora Borealis in Churchill, Manitoba. Temperatures were -26 to -33 F, wind chills in the minus 50's. Able to use my camera and change settings, move the tripod and head, and have my hands out for about a minute at a time. Unlike some other glove liners, these are very silky smooth and slip easily in and out of the gloves/mittens.I took off one star, as over the course of four nights, small holes developed at the fingertips of the right thumb, index, and long fingers (I am right-handed). I think this is from contacting and using camera controls that were extremely cold. All in all, very satisfied, they did the job I needed them to do at a very reasonable price.I am a man with size 8.5 gloves, I used the extra large, they fit well.

Very warm.
I put these on under my regular leather motorcycle gloves and they worked very well keeping my hands warm at highway speed in temps ranging from mid 20's to mid 30's F.I bought ski gloves to try for cold weather riding but while warm, the bulk interferes with operating the controls. These liners are an excellent compromise. The only con is that they are easy to snag on things so use them in conjunction with an outer glove.

The jury is still out
I bought these to wear under my heavy gortex gloves for my upcoming trip to Antarctica. I am surprised how thin they are, although when you put them on they do seem to sort of seal in the heat from your hands. Where I live it's not cold enough to ops check them in real world cold conditions, unless I can figure a way to fit inside my chest freezer to test them. I'm hoping these will work and keep my hands warm, I will report back after I return from Antarctica, providing I'm not pecked to death by a penguin.

Nice, but get destroyed easily
These are nice and keep my hands warm, but they will catch and snag on anything remotely rough. I wanted to use them as ski glove liners, but after a week they were pretty much destroyed.

Good glove liners, fabric snags on Velcro
These gloves function well as liners for heavier winter gloves. The heavier gloves slide on easily and based on some hours spent outside in cold (only high teens to mid 20's) my hands did not get cold. Also they worked well when operating my snow blower which generally results in cold hands from gripping the handles. So serving the purpose for which the glove liners were purchased I would say they are 5 star, BUT the silk fabric snags on the Velcro that the outer gloves use to draw the gloves tightly around ones wrists. Now I have strands of the glove liner fabric on virtually all of the fingers. Soon I think there will be holes. I was initially going to purchase a second pair because they functioned well, but not now. The gloves are too expensive to use sacrificial garments, I expect glove liners to last for years and not just a few months. Product needs re-evaluation of fabric version the purpose for which they were made. I work in R&D for a company and not considering such an obvious potential problem in the development stage would not be easily overlooked by management.

Sorta OK
My hands are sensitive to cold. I would wear these under lightweight work gloves or nitrile gloves if working in cool surroundings or with cold/hot liquids. I didn't find them helpful as an underlayer for heavy winter gloves or mitts though. Construction is good and the fit is comfortable for my large hands, I just didn't find these extended the warmth of any winter gloves I used.

Very warm. Can wear alone and surprisingly, it's still warm.
Very warm. Can wear alone and surprisingly it's warm though it's thin. The silk does a good job at keeping hands warm. There are a few flaws, however...1. It snags easily2. There's no snap or something to keep them together once you take them off. Very easy to lose or drop.3. It's loose-fitting and the fingers are too long.4. It gets linty easily and it's impossible to remove the lint balls without damaging the fabric. I wear them as glove liners, but for people who want to wear them alone and have an all-black look, you won't be able to get that after the 1st wash.
