Kite needs minimum 12 mph of wind
This is a pretty good kite for the price and has some nice upgrades. However this kite has very big vents making the wind requirement a bit higher for actual use. 12 mph is probably the minimum I'd suggest. It's not too fast and it's very easy to manage in the air. Instructions were clear and simple overall not bad just make sure "you have enough wind"

the worst headache nightmare EVER
This kite arrived without all the parts and no list in the instructions of what the package contained. The instructions were probably written by a moron as they were completely impossible to follow. I would never recommend this as a gift or as a fun thing to buy for a family as it just turned out to be a waste of money and a total pain.Of course the company never answered emails and there are no youtube videos online. This company does not derseve to prosper. Buy another brand.

Love this kite!
I'm really sorry the other reviewer had such an awful experience with this kite. When I received it, I had all the parts and didn't have too much of a problem putting it together. It's been a while since I bought this kite, so I can't remember if it came with instructions or not, but in any case I figured out how to put it together and fly it. I've never had to deal with this company's customer service, so I can't comment on how bad/good it is - it could very well be horrendous and I'm simply gotten lucky because I haven't had to deal with it.The kite I got looks just like the one in the picture - if anything, it looks better in real life. The color combos are really nice and colorful without being garish. You can love your rainbows and still look like a badass with this thing.I'm not a serious kite-flyer, so compared to professional kites this probably falls short. But for a simple stunt kite for casual flying this has been fantastic. I haven't tried flying it in really low winds - mainly moderate winds at the beach - but it's a LOT of fun and flyable for one or two people (two is useful since a friend can retrieve the kite when it falls and help you reel it in, but definitely not necessary). This kite lets you do fairly simple stunts/dives/loops that look pretty damn amazing but are completely doable for newbies - very satisfying.I've crashed this thing into the ground *many* times nose-first without a problem. I haven't pulled out my kite in a while, but in the 4 months I lightly (2-4 times) used it (and stowed it in my car trunk) the fabric, stitching, and frame held up perfectly fine.

Great begginers stunt kite.
This is a great stunt kite for begginers to start with. Easy to set up, it comes with 2 pre-cut lengths of sting with wrist straps to control the kite. This is a big help. I've owned other stunt kites that did not have pre-cut strings. It was a nightmare trying to fly with the string they provided. The instructions that come with it could definately use some work. It does not explain the way to set up the kite very well, and if you don't set it up correctly you're going to have issues and get discouraged. Do what I did and youtube some info on how to set up a stunt kite. You don't need the exact model, you'll find what you need. If you've never flown a stunt kite before check out some of the other videos available online for info on controlling, tricks, landing and other useful info.Once you're ready to go and you get it flying for the first time, take some time to feel out how to control it. It's simply amazing how something this simple could be so fun to play with. A lot of people have never seen one, so if you have onlookers, be prepared for questions.Happy flying!!!!

Great kite
Easy to get going, catches the wind well. It gets smoother the more you fly it. A very good kite for beginners or to teach. Lots of fun.

Excellent lively beginners kite for all the family! A*
Excellent kite. I'm a beginner and bought this for our holidays in Devon! My 6yo son could operate it but it is definately a trial and error experience. Very lively once up in the air and it worked in quite strong winds when we used it. It had quite a few severe crashes but still in perfect shape ready for next time so it's very robust. Once you know how it goes together it takes seconds to get it up and running in the future. Make sure you have some way of rolling up the strings when your finished otherwise you spend a lot of time picking through knots!!! Really would recommend it

Easy to set up
Easy to set up, and has proven very durable so far, even after a few nose dives. A lot of fun!
