I use this for showering, but I'm likely to use this in the summer too! I have dreadlocks down to my butt and I wet-wash them every 2 weeks, but I shower every other day (daily in warm weather). The point is, drying my dreads is an All Day event, so I try to keep them dry while showering but it's not easy. Took all the relaxation out of a nice, hot shower. This cap changed all that! I can enjoy my showers again without scheduling 8 hours to dry my hair! Well made & durable. Comfortable, too!

I have long box braids down to my back, so I ordered the XXL at first. Good fit, but there was a lot of room left in the top of the cap, so I then ordered the XL. Perfect fit. So happy to support this company. Clearly made for people with longer, thicker hair. Gray job!

The soul cap fits comfortably over my long locs. I got it in blue and I love the color. It keeps my hair relatively dry overall, but over time (an hour or so in the water) and water seeps in around the hairline. I definitely have to keep my head above water when swimming if I don't want to wash my hair from the chlorine everyday. It's not perfect, but it's still a good product and a far cry from the *old school" swim caps from the 70's. :)

If you are trying to keep your braids or extensions dry during shower time, this is definitely a great alternative to your normal shower cap. Be mindful that it is tight but it does secure your hair.

Great to fit my faux locs and my braids. Not sure if it was the style I had in my hair but it kept slipping back. Other than that it was perfect

Unfortunately it didn't fit but if it did I would probably rate this 4 stars. It does fit comfortable though.

Definitely recommend, for big hair do, it covers it all, however when I swim with/on my back, water gets in, aside that it pretty much does the job with every other swimming style. Great product

I got an XL or XXL I don’t really remember the size but when I saw it I thought it was too big and thought of exchanging it for a smaller one. However I decided to try it on and I realized my braids fit in there so well and I could cover my ears as well. The quality is good, stretches well and I never have to worry about getting my hair wet or water getting into my ears.

I read the reviews so I doubted a little. Thankfully my swim instructor has used one in the past so here is the trick - don't pull it to your ears because it's likely to create an opening - be sure to seal completely around your head not including your ears. Meaning the entire circumference should be laying on your skin - you will know you did the above well If you are not able to squeeze air out...open a small space and squeeze air out as much as possible and seal it back. Worked for me

Good product, however although I have a lot of hair, I have sisterlocs. I don't have a big head, and the opening for the cap is large. So I wear a smaller cap, and then put this one on top. It had helped to keep my hair much dryer.
