No. Contains only the following.CalciumBetainePepsinOther ingredients:Cellulose, Maltodextrin,Silica, Stearic Acid and Magnesium Stearate.Label says that No ingredients other than those listed on this label have been added to this product.I have tried several other brands and this is the only one that worked for me.

Why is there an anti acid (calcium carbonate) in these?

I don't either - Maltodextrin is highly damaging to liver - wished people knew this before buying any products with this listed.

does this cause seperation of teeth?

No. However, this product...KAL's Betaine HCI should NEVER BE CHEWED. It is a very strong acid, which could hurt your teeth enamel. I just swallow them done quickly (AFTER I FINISH A MEAL) and follow them with an extra bit of food if necessary to get them down. It is an excellent product: and I have taken them for 15 years...2 or 3 times a day to help digest my meals. 
    If your teeth are separating, it's likely something else.  I am 70: and when I first noticed a lot more space between my teeth; they were actually shrinking in size which made it seem that they were separating.  I DID SOME RESEARCH AND DETERMINED THAT MY PROGESTERONE LEVELS WAS LIKLY VERY LOW. I started applying to my skin USP natural progesterone and THE SPACES BETWEEN MY TEETH CLOSED UP WITHIN ABOUT 3 WEEKS. Natural Progesterone helps rebuild bone. Our teeth are basically exposed bone with enamel. The trans-dermal application of natural progesterone maintains the dose. If we take it orally, our liver's change and/or reduces the dose.
    I still use natural progesterone on my skin after 3 years. My teeth are still strong and tight. My dentist just told me that I had just 3 tiny / shallow cavities after 2 years of not seeing him.
