Got these for a family get together. Wanted to give them out as just because gift for personal self-protection. And they went quickly! I just got these as I'm making self defense keychains for my friends & family (it totally makes a great gift)! They feel nice and heavy which makes me assume the durability is high. The point isn't crazy sharp where you'll cut yourself and the indents give it the sturdiness you'd need to use the tool. It definitely helps that they came in different & cute colors, I'll probably end up buying more to make more of these keychains as gifts, always hoping we never need to use it but have the peace of mind that we have it -- definitely a great value for money!

i've been wanting one of these since i saw them in my local self-defense shop... who were selling them for $8 each. finding a set of nine on amazon for $15? awesome!! they're good quality; they have a bit of heft to them, but they're light enough to wear on lanyards. the ends are nice and pointy. i haven't had to really try mine yet (thank goodness!), but i feel confident that it could do some damage if need be. i'm giving the rest to my friends as gifts.

we bought these for our whole family as we travel the country for a year. My kids keep theirs on their key ring attached by carabiner to their belt loop. As long as the spikes aren't in their pockets, they find they're not in the way just hanging there. It makes me feel like there's a real option for swift self-defense if someone were to grab hold or harm one of my children, unlike a knife you have to unsheathe or switch open, or any other weapon you have to assemble or make ready at a moments notice. These are ready to go just as they are, and sturdy as well. My kids have been testing them out and "practicing" on thick boxes, pumpkins, and the like.

Love these self defense keychain Kubotans. I purchased these for Christmas for all of my close friends, sisters, granddaughter, and nieces. I pray we never have to use them but we all are carrying them on our key chains just incase. love them, easy to carry and light not noticeable as a weapon but boy if you mess with any of us I am afraid it will leave marks.Thank you for this product.

I have one on each of my key chains. Also ordered for every female member in my family. We all feel safer. The only problem is not the actual products, it's the look of it. Why? Because people keep asking if it's a butt plug. Ha ha haaaa. I now that it's stupid but it still makes us a little uncomfortable. In a way this product educated me since I didn't know what that adult toy looked like.But overall... this is an amazing product, came on time, not damaged, and we feel safer with it. I have already reordered.

I purchased these to keep on my person while in my vehicle, walking my dogs, or even hiking! Very easy to carry, yet have the potential to be deadly if needed. This device came highly recommended from the martial arts instructors in a recent lady's defense course. I purchased enough to give to the other females in my family.

cant break windows with it, had to try to and it bops right off, I hit so hard the very tip went flat. they really shouldnt advertise that something made out of light weight aluminum like that is a window breaker.
